Why not grab the balls? And it certainly wont be the only way to knock someone out, if anyone doesn't like doing it just CQC or dart everyone.Puppa_Shogun

Because the setting is in the desert and those armor they are wearing looks warm, resulting in sweaty balls. I think the question should be: why grab the balls?

and the whole statue thing doesnt look like he is grabbing the jewels, it actually looks like he has his knife in hand dstryr13

I dont know man. The screenshot on GS looks like the statues genitals. I remember watching the live demonstration when they had like a camera rotation and it still looks like genitals.

applied pressure to certain spot of the meatsack can cause blackouts and cause you to faint/passoutdstryr13

I guess snake is trained in anatomy then; specifically the anatomy of the meatsack? A quick blow to the head could knock someone out instead of taking your time to feel out someone's "special" spot on their nuts to cause them to black out.

I'm not sure if this has been addressed before, but the live demonstration showed snaked with his statue camo grabbing another statues genitals... There are even clear screenshots in gamespot. Of all the spots you could put your hands on, why do they choose the genitals? I thought that was just an isolated incident meant to procure humor until snake grabbed a soldier's genitals to knock him out... Thats when I thought WTF?! In a real battlefield, would you really grab someone's genitals to knock them out? I mean, it would probably hurt like hell, but I doubt it will make them see stars and unconcious. Think of all the ways you could knock someone out using non-lethal techniques, and the one they come up with is a quick squeeze to the family jewels.

Maybe there will be achievementsin the game like dog tags in mgs2, except its based on how many soldiers nuts you've touched.

Mine ran pretty smoothly... at least 30 fps at all times.... keep in mind youre comparing it to NGS which is 60FPs at all times at 1080... plus NGS is a remake with environments that dont even come close to heavenly swords IMO (though the models are nice especially Rachels heheh)ajefferism

I'd much rather have heavenly sword run at 720p at 60fps than 1080p at 30fps.

A game with that much flashy movement NEEDS 60fps to reveal all it's glory. I honestly hope the final build is 60 fps. The animations are so fluid that 30 fps would not do it justice.

I use a vacuum cleaner to clean the inside of my computer, inculding the cpu fan and graphics card/ram heat sinks and I've never had a problem with my computer. The static electricity generated is too small to damage any electronic components (maybe except the hard drive). The vacuum I used was one of those vacuums that has a hose with different attachments. The motor is seperated in another compartment. As far as cleaning the ps3, which you wont even have to open, I highly doubt a small vacuum like that would damage your console.

[QUOTE="Ivan5"][QUOTE="zeforgotten"][QUOTE="Ivan5"][QUOTE="zeforgotten"][QUOTE="Ivan5"][QUOTE="eclipsed4utoo"]

[QUOTE="Ivan5"][QUOTE="Prinze"]Someone on the Sigma forum said 3GB, and I am assuming that is for the full install option. You can also choose partial install, or no install as well.zeforgotten

say you install it on your ps3, can you install it on another ps3 later?

yes, you can install it to as many PS3s as you want.

cool, but how do you install it?

Resistance: Fall Of Man (yeah, i wrote the full title. im not lazy :P ) does Install on your system without telling you to accept it and so on (it does it while you play i think) just lookin the game data folder and there it is(or whatever it's called)

i'm not sure i get it, i looked in the game utility data, and it doesnt give me any options.

hence the words "WITHOUT telling you to accept" ... it just installs. you don't even notice it.

so you ae saying i can play it when the disk is not in

Nope. i never wrote that. It just LOADS faster and runs smoother because it doesn't have to read EVERYTHING from the Disc. (can't even remember when i could play a game on PC without a CD.. well unless i had some crappy Crack witch is for loser)

I dont think that data file is installed to make rfom load quicker. I think that data file is the autoupdate you are required to download if you decide to play online. I don't doubt that rfom does cache data on the hard drive, but as far as installing something, I doubt it.

you dont even know how none of those games are gonna play besides gears of war( might i add came out last year, and thats when360 finnally got a game worth buying) and look at this, ps3 still in the first year and has alot of games worth buying. and how do you know if microsoft is working to help the people to make bioshock, maybe they did pay for it not to be on the ps3:o

p.s. you do know that the ps2 started off worse then how than the ps3 and what happened?

9thwardice

The ps3 only had rfom worth buying since launch up until today where that list now includes ngs. Any other game worth buying on the ps3 was made better on their xbox counterparts or had littleto nothing new to offer.

As a consumer, I could care less how a game was acquired as long as quality is good and it gives me a reason to be proud to own a ps3. We no longer live in a chivalrous world where respect matters more than money; because in a capitalist world, earning money will earn you respect.
