Game of the Year 2006

You can now vote for the Game of the Year 2006 Award, only few choices are available and comparitivly there are more xbox 360 games than the others.

Plus most of the games listed are games which were released at the end of this year, and unfortunately you don't get the ability to add any other game to the list.

Anyway just reminding you to make your contribution ...

Its SMARTER ....

Meet the cell broadband engine. It’s the digital soul of the Playstation 3, and though it may only look like an ordinary microchip, it is the future.

It all comes down to processing power. The faster you think the
more things you can think about and that makes you smarter. Which the Cell has not 1, but 8 synchronize processors. While a normal computer can only handle a single task at any given time, the Playstation 3 can perform multiple tasks in parallel. Everything from physics to lighting, navigation to artificial
intelligence, all processed simultaneously in a blink of an eye.

Take a rain drop for example. It has a number of unique properties. Like shape, size, velocity and weight. All of which determines exactly how it affects a pool of water. Because something as deceptively simple as a drop of rain is really so
complex, previous processors could only handle a light shower. Not very exciting is it?

But the cell is 40 times more powerful then the processor of
the Playstation 2. It’s faster and it’s smarter. Which means without much effort we can conjure up a tempest, and if we lower the temperature just enough. We discover that no 2 snowflakes need ever be alike.

But with this power waiting to be tapped, it doesn’t take much to stir things up. As we tumble along the wind currents, we might find ourselves in the center of a vicious dogfight. As chaotic and unpredictable as the real thing and the cell
controls it all. Not just one, but an entire fleets of enemies. Each responding in real time to the environment. Every breeze and every bullet. Creating a battle so furious, it’ll take only your reflexes to survive.

Which begs the question, with this much brain power. Is the cell broadband engine even smarter than you?

Guess wot !

Im back, but this time nothing much except looking here n' ther.
By the way its nice to here that Playstation 3 is out; although it didn't get the expected attention, I'm still a fan of PS.

One more thing if you want to see how powerful the Playstation 3 is head over to Playb3yond
