"The perfect 'subject'" Games are just like relationships with people. Some people will resonate with your personality and characters, but to some they won't resonate as much. Have you played a game and thought it was as if it was made for you? That's perfection, just like finding that one person that makes you feel you were both born for one another.
Tatsu is no where near as bad as Rikki, I hated that Nopon. I love how Lin makes causual comments about how to cook Tatsu, makes me laugh every time.
Tatsu is awesome the way he is, he sometimes is annoying. But when that happens, everyone jumps on his mistakes to make fun of him. Interesting dynamic, and fun banter between him and Lin. I love those two character's interactions, it's hilarious.
@mesome713: Both my brother, and I have hated the first game. But so far, we're both in love with this game. I keep on not noticing how much time I spent running in circles in the world. I've never done that in Witcher 3, nor Fallout 4. This is how you do an open world, the attention of detail found here is on par with linear games. I LOVE IT! XD
This is the most I've enjoyed exploring an open world game. It's a far better experience than the first game which was a bad game. They really built up on the first game's weaknesses very well. The combat is also better, it has guns now. Guns just make everything better.
I don't think it's being westernized, I think it's being made more accessible.
I had and still have no interest in traditional Final Fantasy 7, the remake has made me interested and wanting to play it.
This guy speaks the truth. Final Fantasy 7 remake isn't being westernized, nothing about the spiky-haired bandboys holding swords bigger than themselves is western. The main complaint always was the turn-based brain-dead combat, random monster encounters forcing you to run in circles like an idiot, lack of any strategy that JRPGs always had.
