you should read my resident evil out break file 2 review that should tell you my least favorite RE game!! i havent played survivor though let alone even heard of it
I know the 20gb is backwards compatible, but does the 20gb allow the ability to save PS1 and PS2 game saves? I've heard some say that it doesn't, but I don't understand why they would make a set up like that, so I have my doubts about the inability to save.
So again, will the 20gb model give the ability to save PS1 and PS2 game saves? And I again know about the ability to play the old games on the 20 model.

This thread seems to answer your question. And check this tutorial to save PS1 games out.. Also, personally I'd recommend you buying a 60gb model, simply because that extra space comes in handy when you have installs in certain games so as to speed up loading process. I own a 60gb model my self.
The 20gb apparently makes a Virtual Memory Card - so in short, I think the 20gb model will be able to save PS1 and PS2 saves. If you can try to PM the person who replied to the Question asked in the thread. Just to be sure.
I found that the 40 GB version also has a virtual ps2 memory card but ps2 games mysteriously dont work with the version of the PS3 I have...
