How Close Are We to Next-Generation Gaming?

I've been thinking about how close we are to Eighth Generation Gaming since the news of the 3DS (and now the NGP). The Year has just started, but PS3 & Wii will be 5 in Novemeber, X360 will be 6. Could the new Hand Helds be the opening for Eighth Generation, or are we just balancing on the Seventh Generation Gaming fence? Wold Like to hear YOUR thoughts on this.

also I downloaded Devil may Cry 4: Refrain for iPod Touch. :)

Have a GR8 DAY!

3DS is Pre-Ordered...

My birthday is coming up in February -- I was asked what I wanted for my bday. I told I wanted the Nintendo 3DS pre-ordered -- so my Sister and Mom went ahead and paid in Full the new Hand Held. :) I probably won't get anything on my bday but the 3DS will be all mine in Late March :)

List 5 mistakes youve made in gaming

hmm

1. I traded in my First Dreamcast and a lot of Games when PS2 came out (bad me)
2. I downloaded a lot of Indie games on Xbox Live Arcade (a lot of sucky games I got now)
3. Buying Sports games and trying to like them (I hate sports) lol
4. Playing Resident Evil 5 and forgetting to turn off the Invite Only and having weird people getting into my game
5. Getting more than one copy of a games (example: Resident Evil 4 & Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition)

I won't tag anyone cuz I don't like to be tagged :P:P
have a great day!!

Santerburry Inn --

Detective Martin looked suspiciously at the lady behind the counter at Santerburry Inn. A new term for Creepy, he thought. The moment was almost too long for comfort. "How long you staying, mister?"
"Just for a few days. Got some business to discuss with the workers of this Inn."
"What kind of things you need to discuss?" a frown now formed on the weird lady's face. It was almost like a frown of terror from someone reached out and grabbed her insides.
"I will get to you with this information in time, ma'am." Detective Martin nodded his head as he took his key.
The clerk's face drawn back into a smile that would turn someone to ice. "If you need anything just call."
The Detective walked to this room, climbing the few flights of stairs on his way.
"Good day, sir." the cleaning lady had the same ice smile the clerk had. "God bless..."
Detective Martin one again nodded, wanting not to confront the devils in this place so fast. Once inside his room, the Detective locked the door. Too many horror movies had shown a different story he thought to himself for the careless ones who hadn't locked their door. He looksed around his room, making sure Big Foot wasn't in his closet or a zombie wasn't under his bed, and went into the bathroom looking for vampires, before the Detective began drawing a bath. That's what I need to clear the fog from today's cliche'. The bath water was hotter than he liked but it seemed to relax him. All of the day's problems was gone in a instant. The small music player he had turned on before entering the bath was playing cla.ssical music. His father had gotten him into Cla.ssical before he had passed away. "Cla.ssical Music is the only kind of music that can clear the bad and help heal," his father used to tell him. Detective Martin thought about his Father a lot lately. Since his Mother had died giving birth to him, his Father was the only one he had in life. He was my rock--
A knock at the door brought the Detective back into reality.
"Sir, it's Room Service."
Yelling from the bathtub, "I didn't order Room Service." No one answered him back, so he yelled again, "I didn't order Room Service!!" Still no answer. The Detective grabbed a towel, wrapped it around himself, and went to the door. He looked out the 'peep hole' and seen no one. "Dammit!" Detective Martin opened the door. A Doll was resting in the Hallway with a note attached. He picked up the doll and read the note. The Detective's eyes widened. 'GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN...OR DEATH WILL BE UPON YOU'

After Using Motion Controls...

It's hard to go back to the regular controllers. Since Playing Resident Evil 4 & Resident Evil 5 with Motion Control, playing with a regular control isn't as fun. I hope they put some kind of Motion Control in other games (COUGHSSilentHillCOUGHS) ... or Dead Space w/ PSMove might be alright too. :) Seriously, How could You actually go back and Play Resident Evil 4 or 5 w/ Regular Controls??? :P Maybe it's Just Me :D

Peace,

Bobby
