[QUOTE="Easyle"][QUOTE="urdead18"][QUOTE="Easyle"] I am using a Lenovo Y570. Is this still bad? How good framerates should I get for most games? I don't know any specific benchmarks, all I know is that it is severely stripped down and is more of an overglorified GT 525M. That sucks. Does anyone know benchmarks for my type of video card? Yeah, I almost bought that laptop too until I read that... As for benchmarks, not really, it's a unique card.
The GT555M in that laptop is severely striped down: 96 cores vs the 144 in a real GT555M.
If you're not using a Lenovo, you should be getting decent framerates.

[QUOTE="Armored_"]Im afraid money is a limitation, thus ruling out a macbook pro. I could always go for a windows laptop but im more comfortable with mac anyday, not to mention the size of the air is perfect for my needs. I know the Air is not a gaming machine, but since i just about want to run those two games, is there something else that could go wrong? I can almost guarantee you won't be satisfied with MW2/Blops frame rates even at the lowest possible settings. If you want a similiar (not quite as skinny) form factor, go for the MSI X460DX...$750 and has an i5/4GB/GT 540m which can run blops on high @ 55-60FPS.
Awesome display 8MP Camera w/ 1080p recording Dual Core @ 1.2GHz 1GB RAM Very lightweight Lots of customizability and freedom Near-perfect multitasking
Cons:
Battery life isnt great (supposed to be fixed with Android update 2.3.4) Screen size is a little big for some people Texting isnt as easy as it is on an iPhone
