Its mainly between Fifa and Pro Evo Fifa is daid to be slightly more realistic but there are no truely realistic siccer sims out there at all.

graphically the games seem quite close.

does anyone know if you can play real 45 min halves in fifa 09 off line or online?

the only thing I didn't like about Tony hawks proving ground was the removal of female skaters.

skate 2 would be great if not for the running everywhere thing I like the fact you can totally throw the board away like in Tony Hawks American waste ground and skate 2 seems more open world(GTA Saints Eow 2)in style than most of the tony Hawks games were which was its main appeal to me .

which Hawks game do you see as being the best ?

to me it is since to me most of the games appeal was its open world saints2 row GTA style approach and a great deal of the appeal of those games is the ability to just walk around the city and explore and get into the imagination of living it . running/ jogging everywhere totally spoils that element for me. two worlds was another game that copuld have been great but for me was ruined by the fact the character ran everywhere. Besides I rhink its misleading foe people to say you can walk around in the game when you can't I wouldn't have even have bought the game if I had known the character ran all the time. since I know that totally spoils open world games for me. so its an accuracy thing I don't think people especially the game makers should say you can walk when you can't and they shouldn't say you can walk jog and run when you can,t since saying that is a false and misleading discription they should say you can get off the board and run everywhere lol.

Also running everywhere can be difficult and annoying evenon a pratical level as well if your only trying to move a short distance or trying to get an exact position

Ok didn't want to actually create a seperate topic for this but since that guys question about can youwalkin skate 2 was closed I will have to post this sepeatly besides it can be a general discussionabout Skare 2.

fist thing why do people including people here and even reviewers and the game itself falsly claim you can WALK in this game?

Does no one know the difference between walk jog and run?

walk is like in GTA saints row2 masseffect and even tony hawks project 8 well in fact almost all open world style games were if you press the stick foeward slightly or press a certain key for pc games like sacred the character actually has a walk amination and looks like they are walking as oppised to running or jogging in other words they move in the same or similar style and pace to the npc characters that are walking around .

In skate 2 its like two worlds the character runs or jogs all the time and the so called walk mode is actually a jog mode there is no walk amin at all.so its totally misleading to say that one can get of the board and walk in skate 2 it should be said that one can get off the board and either jog or run all the time personally I find the lack of a true walk amin in skate 2 and two worlds really annoying and games killers for me..

now that complaint is out of the way.

Am I the only one who dislikes that screen style employed in skate 2 (the looking through a camera lens effect) do others like or dislike that?
