anyways, to the original topic, IMO the original godfather was the best game... part 2 got really bad reviews though so I never played it... I played the original on PS2 and it was great... I didnt play Mafia 1 either... but since godfather 2 got such bad reviews and mafia 2 got pretty good reviews I went with mafia 2, but so far its no where close to as good as Godfather 1

lol yeah I guess man... but atleast in GTA games if I remember correctly the missions are a short drive in the beginning, and then turn into longer drives as you get further in the game and ofcourse the city map expands.... but in mafia 2, dam man, you drive cross country for missions right off the bat, thats why like I said I havent even gotten far in the game and I can already tell I'm going to be racking up the miles in this game.... oh well, I bought it already so no going back now...hopefully it gets better as the game goes on and makes the drives more worth it.

yeah seriously, I got mafia 2 on saturday, dont really like it so far because waaaaaaaaaaay too much driving, what the hell?? What makes these people think we want to drive this much?? I cant imagine people enjoy it... if I want to drive I'll buy a driving game... but man, you gotta cross town on basically every mission.... its get annoying.... GTA gets annoying in that sense as well... is it just a way for these guys to make the game longer?? I wish these games would either shorten the amount of driving, or make it so we can auto drive, or skip the driving period. please!!

My only main gripe with the rating system on SameSpot is, lets say for example Madden comes out, they give it a 9.5, then lets say next year the game comes our exactly the way it was the previous year, and they'll give it a 8.5 or 8 because they didnt make any major changes..... well if the game is already great, why change it, and why give it a lower raing the next year just because they didnt change a great game..... in other words, if its not broke, then dont fix it. so why do the ratings have to suffer??

Just 1 day after release and only 1 night of playing the game...... Its not that its a bad game though, it deserves all the good reviews its been getting, its just I completely 100% agree with anyone who has given advice to people thinking of buying the game which is, ONLY buy this game if your buying it for the multiplayer..... I thought I would LOVE SP, I DL the demo and loved it, and as the hype grew and grew over this game I decided to buy it, but it didnt take long for me to sour on it....Reason being, like others have said, SP starts off good, alot of fun when you 1st start playing, but then all of a sudden you realize your just going back and forth over this same part of land, doing the same things over and over again..How many times can they ask you to destroy anti aircraft guns?? ...I swear if I had to blow up another anti aircraft gun I was gonna kill myself..... And ofcourse I'm in that minority of gamers that isnt into online gaming..... I grew up with nintendo, super nintendo, sega genesis, way before any kind of online gaming.... so now I'm use to playing games that way, playing against the computer instead of online.....anyways for those of you still deciding if you should buy or not, unless your into doing the same missions over and over again, your main reason for buying should be for the multiplayer

I'm not going to say I wont buy it, we'll see, but I am VERY VERY dissapointed COD went back to the WW2.... Hasnt everyone had enough WW2 games?? From the old Medal of Honor games, to COD and Brothers in Arms or whatever it is...WW2 games from Europe settings, to the Pacific, even a air combat WW2 games set in the Pacific, I'm done with it already, I dont care about WW2, who cares, I want to use modern weapons and blow up middle eastern terrorists, thats what I want to to do, not play stupid WW2 games..... WW2 games are so played out and so old I heard Jesus use to play WW2 games when he was in highschool.... PLEASE NO MORE WW2 GAMES, EVERRRRRRRRRR!!!!

I kinda want NCAA 09 more because the last one I got was 07 and to tell you the truth after playing the demo it was the same game just updated roster so I dont know if I want to even get it. I have Madden 08 and Im going to wait for the demo and if its the same then I dont think Im going to get either one this year. I dont want to spend money on the same thing I feel like all they added was dynasty online. raylewisnfl52

Actually I want Madden more cuz IMO Madden 08 was alot better then NCAA 08... When I was younger I remember and had Sega Genisis, then PS1, etc etc, I use to buy the Madden and NCAA EVERY year, but as I got older I realized how dumb that it cuz ur just buying the exact same game over and over again, just with updated rosters, and an added move or 2, and thats it.... So I decided with my 360 I was going to buy my sports game every OTHER year, just so the one I have doesnt get too outdated.... But as far as Madden goes, I'm a Raider fan, so when Raiders had a busy offseason signing safety Wilson from NYG, trading for D Hall for ATL, signing J Walker at WR, and then drafting McFadden at RB, they made so many moves that even if they suck in real life, its gonna be alot of fun playing them on Madden, so I decided Madden 09 was a must buy, and sold my 08..... I'm also a die hard USC Trojans fan, and with Ohio St on schedule, I then decided I wanted this years to, so I sold my 08, but I COMPLETELY agree with you about the Demo, I DL it last night, played it, and its was EXACTLY like playing 08, and so now I am regretting selling my 08....I guess 07 had better reviews then 08, and with Madden 08 possibly the best Madden yet ever, I was thinking EA might take some of that Madden 08 and add it into the NCAA game, which would make it a must have for me, so I took a chance, but yea, so far NCAA 09 looks exactly like 08, I guess I can always go back and buy a used copy of 08 again lol

I love baseball but didnt get Major League Baseball 2K8 when it came out because the reviews are horrible...... However, I found one I can buy used for 35 bucks..... is it worth it to get it at that price??
