Am I the only one?

Am I the only one who has no desire whatsoever to go and see the Dark Knight? I haven't seen any of the Batman movies, only clips and they do nothing for me. Aaaaaaarrrrrrgggggghhh everybody's going on about it.

On the other hand (quite calm now) I still haven't made my mind up about my car, I really love my Jazz, he's so yellow and original (there are other Jazzes where I live but no other yellow ones). Btw if I had all the money in the world I'd buy a Lotus Elise (yellow of course) and a beautiful old fashioned Bentley cos then I'd be able to drive it and not just look at a car with an empty petrol tank!!!!

Have fun for the weekend.

I've made up my mind!

OK, I've made up my mind I'm going to get a new car - that done what am I going to buy? Big question? At present I have a Honda Jazz 55 reg (nearly three years old for those not from UK) - it's a cool car yellow pearl in colour - I don't lose it in a crowded carpark. As there are usually myself and Becky in the car, sometimes son or daughter, I don't need 5 doors. I'm thinking about a Citreon C1 Vida - it's low on emissions, low road tax and low fuel consumption - also low on top speed about 55mph - I can't make up my mind.

Protest

I've just read Miles(65UK) blog. In it he explains about Sparklefarkle's moderation. Apparently the moderator didn't like the font she was using. So far in this blog as protest I have been changing my font and colours for every sentence. I decided against changing every word as it's too hard on me and your eyes. Maybe when I hit the offending font I'll be moderated too. Until then I'll be blogging like this. Unless anyone comes up with a better answer. Moderators (hmm that should read moderators) should do their job fairly and not like a jobsworth (jobsworth).

Yes - it was mulicoloured now it's shades of grey.

Fun

I've just had the greatest "morning" - actually it was 10am til 2.15pm - it was the Big Paint! I only painted one canvas although Dave, the instructor, told me to hurry up around twelve as he wanted me to do a second but I got too engrossed. Some people only had sky (blue - Ainav!!!!), one of them, my friend Chris, was told her sky was boring so when it was dry she got everyone to sign it. My square was of a building on the Gateshead side of the river - the computer showed the windows as different colours so that's what I did(!), Dave did say to use originality! Chris told me people were complimenting it, I am so chuffed. I am on such a high - I loved it.

To bring you up to date Richard and girlfriend have just left; I still can't talk and my bottom lip swelled up last night - I've got half a "trout-pout" - hope it goes back down soon.

If anyone else was wondering where Mark(svigil) is he'll be back on Sunday night - he's hyper busy. I have to admit I was worried but all's well.

I'm on level 5 (75%) nearly back.

Sounds of Silence?

I've lost my voice now Becky doesn't have to pretend to not to listen! Richard's girlfriend is here so I've not got much time to use the computer. I'm altogether down in the mouth :(

Not well!!

I'm not well today, I've got the shakes and sweats (no I haven't been drinking) I'd better be well for Saturday. Both Sarah and Richard seem to be back to normal, although Richard's waiting to have hospital tests. Becky's bouncing, usually on me - I can't stand it!!!!!!! I'll be back when I can see straight

What a week!!!!

Sarah appears not to be pregnant although all the tests don't agree! Anyway Keith (her partner) and Sarah seem to be happy either way - me (?) I'm keeping quiet, she wouldn't listen anyway. Btw thanks for all your lovely comments about Sarah and Becky.

I didn't tell you about Richard did I? He keeled over backwards at work last Monday, from what I can gather almost in a mirror image of his dad when he was Richard's age. He's also waiting for test results - his dad was diagnosed with a form of epilepsy but only had two attacks. When I visited my GP for a check up last Wednesday she was singing Richard's praises and saying what a lovely polite young man he is. I swelled with pride at that cos I brought him up alone from the age of 5 (Sarah was 3 when ex-hubby got booted out!!!!)

On the good side Saturday sees the arrival of the Big Paint, I seem to have been waiting for this for months. There are going to be 60 to 80 of us painting a skyline view of Newcastle upon Tyne. We'll each have at least one 30cm square to paint starting at 10am, all the squares will be put together about 2pm. I am really looking forward to it.

Good news and bad news

Her Highness Becky the English Setter's paw is fine. After very closely examining it a number of times she didn't limp on her morning walk.

The bad news is I spent all afternoon in A&E with Sarah, my daughter, who was suffering from severe stomach pains. Various tests have been done one has revealed a urinary tract infection, the rest haven't come back yet. One is a preganancy test - if she's pregnant I'm leaving home - I'm not old enough to be a grandma - to those who don't know Sarah is 19 and cohabiting with her boyfriend of 18 months. I hate A&E it's so boring and slow.

Now wasn't that fun - I now realise I'm very negative!

Becky's started to limp I can't find any damage or sore places - I think she's playing the sympathy card! Will have to get her checked at the vets.

There Mark I can have pretty colours too (!) beware I may go all rainbow again!
