people seem to forget that the elite features a better / quieter drive, smaller form factor cpu (less heat), and many other minor improvements throughout the system. from what ive read it runs quieter than the PS3.

i'm not saying it totally justifies the price, but its not like you can make the equation: A larger HDD isn't worth the price increase. because thats certainly not all your getting.

its the same exact console with a larger hard drive and hdmi. they did nothing to improve the hardware. they will never have 65nm chips, this just proves it

This means the UK only sold about 8.3k in the UK in the 4th week. Keep in mind the 360 sold 11k last week and the Wii sold 25k and theres no reason for those consoles to suddenly decline in sales (theyve been out longer). So basically this is terrible news that the PS3 has only sold 800k in a month in Europe. The rate of decline in sales is very drastic and scary for sony.

the sells rate are going to increase a lot when the main PS3 games come out (Lair, HS, Warhawk, MGS4, FFXIII, etc), because by now the PS3 is selling pretty well for a system with no exclusive AAA.

Ok, I know you sayin the graphics are bad is you opinion and all... buy c'mon. MGS2 and MGS3 are EASILY in the top 10 of the best looking games last gen.

last gen. that's the keyword there. last gen. this gen sony is joke. they can't hang on to exclusives, their multiplat titles are crap, the exclusives they have look...nasty. yes what i said about mgs "sucking" is subjective but you have to admit at this point the game lacks in the visual fidelity department. 

im pretty sure its a fact that mgs4 graphics dont suck, unless you're looking at them with poo smeared all over your glasses or monitor.

I am getting both a new DX10 PC and 360. I am waiting to get a PC so I can afford one that will be able to run Crysis nicely.

I will most likely get Bioshock on the 360 and Alan Wake on the PC (seeing as how I will most likely have my new PC by the time AW comes out).

it was a mistake to buy both. i would of just gone with the pc, its getting bioshock, gears, lost planet, alan wake, and it will eventually get mass effect. couple alot of these so called 360 exclusives with superior fpses and rtses on pc, and your set!

its funny because its true. hd dvd doesnt sound very cool, it sounds like a slight upgrade from dvd. blu rays sounds like the future! although they are pretty much the same

they did lower their target sales numbers by a few million, but it doesnt mean they are doing horrible. just not as good as they expected.

lair and hs will flop. warhawk has been downgraded to an online multiplayer game that has to be downloaded because it won't come out in stores. mgs sucks and has horrible graphics. ff13 is no longer exclusive according to se. anything else?

is it possible that since it didnt launch in the holiday season, that launch numbers would be good, but it wouldnt really sell the following weeks because people are less willing to spend a large amount of money out of holiday season? nope i guess not...IT MUST BE DOOMED!! TEH PS3 IS DOOMED EVERYONE!! check out my sweet crystal ball!
