[QUOTE="salty5674"][QUOTE="Film-Guy"]

[QUOTE="salty5674"]1) Michael Bay
2) Steven Spielberg
3) Peter JacksonFilm-Guy

You just rated micheal bay above steven spielberg:| has micheal bay ever done a movie as good as Munich, schinlers list, Amistad, empire of the sun or jaws? no micheal bay directs commercials and cheesy over the top action movies, which are nowhere close to how good spielbergs movies are. I know its your opinion, but im just curious as to why you rate a hack like micheal bay above someone like spielberg:?

I dont know i guess i just like his action movies

thats cool, at least you gave a reason:P did you ever see Munich? amazing movie:D

'Munich' was personally my favorite Spielberg movie. Michael Bay has definitely made some killer action titles; like my biggest guilty pleasure 'Bad Boys II' and this summers tour de force that was 'Transformers'.

Nobody has said Chris Nolan?!Apollo5000

Chris Nolan is great, it's just hard to put him in this catergory ... Granted everything he has touch has been amazing; Memento, Insomnia, The Prestige, and of course Batman Begins. Mr. Nolan just isn't quite as prolific as the others in his masterpieces, not that one day he wouldn't easily fit into this converstation.

My summer has been spent enjoying many films, which led to the question 'Who is the greatest director, ever?'.

Of course you have Steven Spielberg who single-handily invented summer blockbusters with 'Jaws'. Not to mention some of his other crowning achievements, which help him be nominated for 6 Oscars with 2 wins(Schindler's List's+ Saving Private Ryan)

Then there are the 'underdogs' Martin Scorsese and Alfred Hitchcock. These guys consistently are/were given critical and commercial praise for their amazing feats in filmaking only to be snub (Until recently, 'The Departed') by the Academy. Goodfellas, arguably the best gangster flick, but Scorsese's best work loses to Kevin Cosrner's 'Dance's With Wolves'?

Do not forget James Cameron, the mind behind Terminator 1+2. And of course the most critically and commercially successful film EVER, Titanic.

Then the iconic western and bad cop turn director, Clint Eastwood. 4 nominations for best director, as well, for best pictures, with 2 wins in both catergories(Unforgiven+ Million Dollar Baby).

Last in this list, but not least; George Lucas. Two of the greatest trilogys ever made under his belt, as well as the second most commercially successful movie ever ... Star Wars (However; If tickets from 1971 were price to match tickets in 1997 Titanic's release year, SW would actually gross more).

I know I neglected greats such as Peter Jackson (LOTR Trilogy), Oliver Stone (Platoon), Francis Ford Coppala (Godfather I+II), among others. But the question is 'Who is the greatest director, ever?' .. why?

[QUOTE="v1cious04"][QUOTE="JohnWinger"]There's only two endings to Bioshock......unfortunatelyJohnWinger

Not to be a jerk, is there a way to confirm that? Just out of curiousity, that's all. . . Cause Gamespot's Online Guide mentions there being 3 different endings.

Check out the Bioshock forums for your confirmation.

There are only 2 endings to the game. If you play the game, then its common knowledge.

If I play the game? Umm.. I beat it 3 times with every achievement minus 'Historian'; And the forums don't have any conclusive information. The forums seem to be alot of rumors with no solid proof, and it still stands Gamespot's Guide still makes mention of 3 different endings.

Maybe if you don't do anything to them. Just leave after you kill the big daddy.DaHunta90

That's what I was thinking, but the game would be quite hard.

I've officially beaten Bioshock 3 times, and gained all achievements (Ones listed on Gamespot, except 'Historian'). My first two playthroughs I rescue all of the Little Sisters and harvest each of them. On my third playthrough I alternated (Rescue, Harvest, Rescue, Etc.), which led to more rescues than harvest. I defeated Fontaine, and still ended up with 'evil' ending. Is there a fabled 3rd ending; if there is, how is it accomplished? ANYBODY . . . ?

Suchong is dead. He was on an operating table with a big daddy drill stuck in his abdomen. And Fontaine is no scientist. He's just thug mobster trying to steal the discoveries of the scientists in Rapture. cmdrmonkey

Okay ... Can you answer Fontaine/Atlas's 'chinaman' comment then? Fontaine/Atlas clearly have the scientific 'know how' to change appearance, and such. Plus Fontaine/Atlas has mind control abilities, which Suchong created, to have others do things for him. Also Adam Ryan has an audio diary saying Fontaine is a genious inventor. I know there are several audio diarys of Suchong refering to Fontaine, but there are none of Fontaine refering to Suchong(Unless I miss it). That is weird, I'm not saying your wrong I'm just I have some questions.
