i'm currently looking at getting a samsung, 3000:1 contrast ratio with 2ms response time. its 22 inches. but i figured i would ask around see what other people suggest or use themselves. my budget is about 500....thanks!
I just bought a new gaming computer...and need a new monitor. looking at a samsung right now. any suggestions on monitors you guys have heard of or use yourself? my price limit is about $500. how much does the contrast ratio have an impact on the quality of the images compared to the response time? thanks!
thanks guys...i appreciate it! after some thinking and knowing i'll be needing to upgrade my computer in the future, i'm going with a desktop. i found a great tower for only 1,000. and its better than the laptop by a long shot. thanks for the input!
i'm in a constant struggle between getting a laptop for desktop. the main purpose is 2 use it for gaming! what are your opinions on laptop vs desktop for gaming purposes.

i believe you need the better cables to get the true HD visuals....i have the premium 360 so i've always used the better cables....once its set up and ready to go...you'll never want to watch a regular movie again! HD DVD drive is an awesome add-on!
