Everyone should, by law, be made to display their list of most favorite ever games. It suprises me that gamespots profile doesn't provide sections to list your hardware, gaming preferences, game history etc.
Let us keep in mind that individuals cherish certain games for many different reasons. The games i hold dear are not necessarily the best games of that era, it could remind me of a significant moment, or conjour up particular memories.
Similarly one shouldn't ignore the more recent games simply because you are trying to prove your gaming worth with examples of 'how you were there from the start' and 'the days where there was no animation and everything was in monochrome, it was so much better back then'
To add some meaning to my nominations I have tried to provide a brief explination for each one, this should also be law...

Dumb Questions
by velvetkloud on Comments
So, I was asked the other day, after persuading a friend to enter into the world of the DS and thrilling ourselves with our first dip into the world of WiFi gamery thanks to Mario Kart DS, which do I think is the better game, Metroid Prime - Hunters or Tetris DS.
Now not only is that a somewhat absurd question it is also a smite pointless as they are just so bloody different. As far as I am concerned any DS owner worth their salt should own both these games. It should be mandatory, under pain of memory card deletion. Let's face it, Metroid is a technical Marvel and should be owned on that basis alone.
Then there's Tetris.... Multiplayer across the globe Tetris, 10 people against one another on wireless link Tetris. I mean come on!
Not that I know ten people let alone ten people each in posession of a DS, but its nice to have the option.
