Very satisfying conclusion to the trilogy - totally upstaged the second one, which in retrospect didn't really have the strength to stand alone as a movie. It was too obviously a bridge. And the cannibals bored me cos they didn't help the plot. The Curse of the Black still wonderful; the film in which we fell in love with captain Jack. And i with Johnny Depp.

My only annoying thing with Pirates 3 was GEEZ how many people kissed Elizabeth in that!! And did you notice they all kiss her minutes before they die? i.e. Sao-feng gets impaled/ Norrington gets stabbed/ Will carks it. And in the 2nd one she kisses Jack and he gets eaten by the Kraken. She's no need to pick up a sword, really.
