usually a medium soda, i dont even drink it all.  but when i order a pizza i have a family of 4, so we all share a 2 liter.

you can go to mcdonalds spend $3 and get a burger,  fries and a coke with hundreds of calories  but take that $3 and go to the produce section at one of the upscale markets like whole foods and you can't buy anything with it.

the fact is bloomberg makes decisions for people whose lives he cannot even come close to knowing anything about.

i don't really blame him for that because just like he cannot imagine the reality of my life i can't imagine the reality of some poor 3rd world persons life.

the difference is i don't try to make decisions for that person that i have no clue what their day to day reality is.

everyone want to put the blame of us being a nation of fatasses on gluttony without ever considering the effect of people eating shytty food in order to get the most bang for their buck.

i think if that more people could afford to eat healthy they would.

Heaven forbid we improve our public education system on the merits of proper health and exercise.. Or trying to promote going to a gym by giving certain benefits such as a tax breaks.. This is a reactionary and stupid ass law.. sSubZerOo

Amid New York Mayor Michael Bloombergs ban on big sodas taking effect in March are some details that may have been overlooked.

The mayors new rules prohibit restaurants from serving or selling soda in containers larger than 16 ounces. 

The rules will force consumers to pay more for smaller containers. Under the ban, they would have to buy six 12-ounce cans at an average cost of $7.50 to get an equivalent amount of a $3 2-liter bottle.
