Will be trying this out.

Too worried I might not enjoy it like my other titles, so I never wanted to drop the $15 or $20 it costs to buy it. I mean I'm sure I'd like it, but the staying power of games like Team Fortress, and Counter Strike is what I like in my online shooters.

Raymundo_Manuel

It's midweek madness 50% off on it.

I can only recommend the game to everyone, balanced, skill based and it seems to be getting more content all the time.

Alright, so if I changed the realmlist, would I also need to get an American account or can I log on with my European one?

You would need to rebuy the game and all expansions. To play on american servers you'll need an american license.

I'm sorry that you might need a new screen.

[QUOTE="Crimsader"]I take it you installed Windows 7 just for Just Cause 2. With such a PC, I suggest you play the heavy games under XP.jorjdboss

Yeah, i hoped for that. i dont really care about dx9 or 10 really. performance is important. so you think xp can beat 7 in crysis(considering my hardware)?

Yeah, 7 uses more RAM than XP

Dragon Age can be played from a third person mode. The combat is great!biggest_loser

In dragon age you there's autoattack, the only thing you do is using abilities. I wouldn't consider the combat great.

VALVe have already revealed that they will be doing a second round of class updates

No they havent. Valve just said they will continue to update the game beyond the initial 9 class updates. They never specifically said they will be doing class updates round 2.

With the polycount update its practically doing 5 class updates at once anyway.

bonafidetk

I belive they said so in an interview, I think it was Robin. Can't bother to dig it up now anywho.

the beauty is the community is actually very active in giving new material to valve through maps and now even hats and weapon design. TF2 has the artistic style so that no matter on what type of computer, it'll always look good (as long as you can run it :P)... and it'll stay looking great because its colorful and cartoony look really cant be compared so easilyto the likes of crysis in the same manner call of duty or battlefield or whatever can.

TF2 is here to stay, probably for as long as another 3 years at the minimum imo. Plus, if valve adds in even more unlocks/ ways to mix up how each class is played with another set of 9 weapons, or even just through the crafting system like they are now with the dalokhs bar or the homewrecker or the pain train, the game will live for a LONG time.

any game from the Battlefield series (besides BC2). They aren't as simple but the maps are huge and there are a lot of players.

Pdiddy105

The maps in BC2 are big (compared to what other new games has to offer)

a hacked server in MW2 is a modded server, still hosted locally and not a pirated server, it can increase speed, exp and so by a whole lot (I tried it the free weekend, after 3 kills on that server I was level 70 prestige 10)

There are ways to bypass anticheat.
