inFamous (PS3) - 26 May 2009

This game looks like a lot of fun, even if it may get repetitive. Lightning powers look awesome and the 'Beauty of Power' trailer looks awesome with the slo-mo's.

Modern Warfare 2 (PC, PS3, X360) 10 November 2009

Anyone who played Call of Duty 4 (who doesn't like it?) will probably take a look at this. Simon Wells (brand manager of COD frachise) has said it could be the "biggest selling video game of all time". Now, a lot of people would probably say that, but this is Modern Warfare we're talking about! I'll definately pick this one up for the PC.

Uncharted 2 (PS3) - 2009

What can I say? I loved Uncharted and this one turns out to be looking great.

God of War III (PS3) - 2009/2010

God of War I and II were just plain awesome and I'll want to finish the series and find out what's going to happen after Kratos finishes super-pissed-off mode.

Nice fists.

Prototype (PS3, X360, PC?) - June 2009

This one's a bit like inFamous, but shape shifting powers. Looks really awesome as well in terms of sandbox fun.

I reckon this one'll be just pure awesome.

So I finally beat it. Nothing much to say, though having a decent commentary gets hard after 100 attempts.

So, I've finally come close to finishing IWBTG, with 1499 deaths on Hard mode. I beat the first 6 bosses and made it to the 7th after much frustration (dying ~1500 times gets old fast). But after I finish it, I shall have the satisfaction that I beat this incredibly unfair game that crashes and kills just before save points. Then I shall play the guy's next game - that is, if it's finished.

So I was thinking of buying either SFIV or Tekken 6, which would obviously have to wait until later. Street Fighter IV was recommended to me, so I ended up buying it. So, I give it a go and realise that I'm quite bad, being new to the series.

Anyway, I've enjoyed it so far and even my dad likes it, so we can have some battles (even though he can't even do Hadoukens reliably) which is pretty cool. At the moment, I mainly play Akuma mainly because I can't do most of the more complicated special attacks and I frankly can't be bothered to learn at the moment.

Online is frustrating, not because of connection (which is good), but because I get my ass handed to me 90% of the time, hence my extremely bad win rate.

I'm going to stick with it though and see if I can get my win rate up and get some trophies, which may take a very long time.

Overall, Street Fighter IV is awesome, 9.5/10.

It's my birthday today and I am 17. Didn't plan on doing much today, apart from playing in the Left 4 Dead GS AU games night, which was pretty darn fun.

For my birthday I got Uncharted Drake's Fortune, which turns out to be pretty cool, Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction (haven't played it yet) and Turok. I haven't heard great things about Turok, but I'm willing to give it a chance... I don't want to make my mum feel bad, do I?

Oh, I also got $50 from my grandparents :D

Note that these are for the games I've played - no others. This is also my opinion based on much I've enjoyed these titles, so if anyone does read this and disagrees, that's fine.

I just realised I love half-life 2 (including episodes 1 and 2) so much that I am now compelled to play it through a third time. So, I'm going to go and get into it...

It would appear to random bluescreen and it was actually just that stupid bluescreen screensaver that I suspected, but couldn't find because of the screensaver tab being disabled in the display section, so a huge amount of time was wasted and I now feel like a complete idiot.

Finally got them all today.... I had to get the mew trophy twice, because I only had 200 coins, took out the memory card and forgot to put it back in =/
