Except for the fact that they removed most of this in Brawl.

Unless we discover some new advanced techniques, the game may, in fact, be just a shallow party game.

I'm interested in replacing my crappy 8500 GT with a schnazzy new 8800 GT, but I'm a bit shocked at the PCI-Express 2.0 interface. Will I not be able to pop it into an old PCI-Express 16x port? And if I do, will there be performance loss?

Also, would I need to upgrade my 400W power supply for an 8800 GT?

With all of the fighting you do when you're playing the game, it TOTALLY had me fooled. I thought it was fighter. Silly me. You're right. Despite the fact that fighting is what you do when you play any Smash Bros. game, they are all definitely platformers. Yes. PLATFORMERS.

...honestly. *sigh*

I dunno. I like Rock Band's song list WAY more than GH3's. And, you said you played the guitar at Best Buy? Controllers there naturally get abused and worn out extremely quickly, I wouldn't make your judgement based on that.

They might sell the same amount over their respective lifetimes, but in the first week, Halo 3 will easily win. I mean...it had a drink! SSBB won't have diddly, marketing-wise, if the last game is any representation.

SSBB will have a pretty huge launch, though. Just not of Halo proportions.

Yep. But they'd make alot more money. And it would be funner than mini-games.Games_NXS

Yes, they would make SO much more money selling titles that have already been released instead of mass-market hits like Nintendogs and Brain Age. Nintendo's swimming in money, right now, buster.

Pretty embarassing for Sony, if you ask me. Although, I can see why it would work better on the Wii.

Discuss!

Peh. They sure were fun for flops. Honestly...since when is GS's word law, anyhow? You have a brain! Use it! Develop your own opinions after playing the game yourself.

I love how people refuse to play "kiddy games" on the basis of them being made for a wider age group. Probably the same people who think they're "too cool" for the awesome teacups at Disneyworld.

What, do you think your exceptionally small genitalia will shrink into nonexistence if you play a game rated lower than M?

This being said, both games (SMG and RnC) look like sheer fun manifested into convenient disc form, but, seeing as I cannot afford a PS3, and already have a Wii, my vote goes to SMG.

Don't worry maybe Santy Claws will get you a PS3 for Xmas, it's only$ 400 now.

Psht. If I'd get anything, I'd get a new graphics card to drop into my rig for the same amount. If the PS3 had more awesome exclusives in the near future, like MGS4 and FFXIII, I might consider it, but chances are, I won't pick one up for another 10 years when you can find them in the bargain bin for chump change.
