Well, it could, but it would just be a port of the Xbox HL2 with Wiimote support. You can get that with a PC mod PLUS all of the graphical bells and whistles that come with the PC version. (Insane resolutions, Anti-aliasing, HDR lighting, bump mapping, etc.)

Counter-Strike: Source for the Wii wouldn't be such a bad idea...wait...I forgot that Nintendo's online service is retarded by its blatant "family-friendliness". (The mastermind behind friend codes should be shot.) Scratch that as well.

Honestly, why want FPS ports? You should wait for good Wii-exclusive FPS experiences.

Give it time.

Sure, that's all that and a bag of chips, but this is the machine they're playing it on:

Pony up the dough.

You know, Fire Emblem established its American fanbase through the appearance of Marth and Roy in SSBM, so it can't be all bad, eh?

The Miis should replace the Wireframes. It would be so much funnier that way.

Super Mash Bros. Brawl?

XD

Somewhat excited. I mean, I wish I knew WHY they were updating it.

(I'm hoping the announce a downloadable demo on the Wii Shop Channel.)

I dunno...multiplayer practically made the first game. (Try playing it solo, not so fun.) I'm beginning to have reservations about this. Doesn't mean I won't buy it, though.

More screens would be nice...I'd like to see where they're going with this.

they way i see it the nintendo friend code policy is way to uptight. i believe if nintendo has the gonads to send an update out to all the wii's to make it so that people (adults and children) can play online together with no friend codes. except-- parents would get mad at the fact that they took friend codes off sooooo... i came to a conclusion! we don't need friend codes to play online together but i guess we (when i say we i mean me) could compromise and say "we can have friend codes to keep online friends, but we don't need them to play online together." and thats how nintendo should'ive invisoned friend codes.

That's how it already works for the DS. You go to Wifi, then you choose "Random" or "Friend." "Random" pairs you up with people you don't know, "Friend" pairs you up with friends. Friend codes are usually not mandatory.

I expect this will apply to the Wii as well.

"Unbiased Opinion" is an oxymoron, you silly fool.

I stopped reading after that. Come up with a legitimate argument before you cry "fact". In fact, don't cry "fact" at all, it makes you look foolish.

You put "fun" in quotation marks like it's a bad thing.

"Why our games will be downright gorgeous! But we must avoid fun at all costs! We can't have any FUN games, now, can we?"

Tee-hee.
