This is a simple little post to make my profile page a little less empty :)

To anyone who stumbled upon my profile, welcome! My name is Alexis (and that's a perfectly masculine french name, thank you very much). I'm an 18 y/o french canadian with an obsession for music. My favorite band is Sonic Youth, but I like a lot of stuff, would it be shoegazing, golden age hip-hop or post-punk.

But enough of that. Music is what drives me, but this IS a gaming website after all.

My first console was the original GameBoy. I've spent many hours being scared of Metroids in Metroid II, and I was the first guy who had Pokémon in elementary school. Then I had a SNES, then a PS1, the a Gamecube, then a PS2, then a DS, and for now it stops there. I'm planning on buying a PS3 in the summer, but right now I'm hooked on all the cl*ssic PS2 RPG's like DQ8, FFXII and Persona 4.

My favorite game developer is Atlus. They may not have the biggest budget, but they have the largest heart. I have a soft spot for anime and dungeon crawlers, you see, and so does Atlus. I also adore Capcom games, especially those between Megaman X and Megaman Battle Network.

I'm a big fan of indie games, especially freebies. I'm a freeware nuts, so I'll probably make a few posts about games you can download for free. Keep an eye open, my recession-plagued friends!
