Crystal Castles - Crystal Castles

A thousand times yes. I loved every track, especially Courtship Dating. A must buy for anyone with any interest in electro. So this is my first choice. The other two would be "We are beautiful, we are doomed" by Los Campesinos! and the Smiths' debut eponymous album. The Queen is Dead is often considered their best effort, but it never had the same impact that their debut had on me. I can hardly call this a top 3, but on the top of my mind, that's pretty much it.

Well, all the better. Don't get me wrong, I love rock, I grew up listening to it and it got me through my teen years. It's such a broad genre, there really is something to like for everyone, and that's awesome. The thing is, I'm eager to see what's the next revolution. In the '20s it was jazz, then the '50s had rock & roll. The next real revolution had to be punk in the mid-70s, before it got all douchey with The Offspring and such. Then there was grunge. Now, I dunno. Indie rock would be the obvious answer, but I never could consider it as a genre. Hopefully, we will live to see the next revolution happen. It's hard to predict it, though... It used to be simple though, you just had to watch whatever Bowie was doing and you knew what was coming next :-P
