[QUOTE="StrongBlackVine"]

This is lame. I'm sure they didn't know it was copyrighted. And who gives a shit about maps that were useless in the game?

Also ripped directly from Neogaf.

clyde46
I would be if I found my stuff in a very successful product.

I could inderstand IF they took somebodys music and added it to the game with out their permission. I would not be cool with that I could understand IF Naughty Dog stole video game code etc BUT using an insignificant texture of a map that the guy himself copied from another source? Come on now! This is b.s and we all know it. Lets be real here. You haters are just using this as an oppurtunity to take shots at Naughty Dog, which that is pathetic You dont truly give a rats ass about this guy and his little insignificant map

Are people really this desperate to hate on Naughty Dog? It's an insignificant map that the guy himself copied from another source. Who gives a flying rats ass Its not like the map was an in integral part of the game and Naughty Dog actively went out to copy it to make the game what it was This is insanity Its pathetic how the haters are using this oppurtunity to bash Naughty Dog (so cowardly) while then campaigning this douche around as some kind of hero who was "victimized" F@ck this guy and f@ck the pathetic Naughty Dog haters

dat xbox cloud servers...cows wishing they had for non-linear unscripted open world games lol

Scipio8
Are you not aware that Gears and Halo are the very epitome of linear scripted corridor shooters lol Except they dont even have decent stories or characters so you are just left with poorly done scripted repetitious shooting segments one after another in Gears and Halo until add nasuem occurs....and thats much worse Thats also funny you would say that when most revealed xbone games are linear scripted games (Ryse) and trailers to games you know nothing about Where as Killzone Shadow Fall is MORE OPEN and looks much better then any xbone game we have seen to boot Never mind Infamous which blows any xbone game in existence to date

A filmic linear experience? Another cutscenes fest for Sony huh, shitty gameplay confirmed.

sebbi11
Dont worry, it wont be another cut scene heavy movie like Gears or Halo game which truly has sh1tty gameplay Its influences are more Uncharted if anything but its taking it serious....and thats a good thing since Uncharted revolutionzed this gen and redefined action adventure. You wnat to strive to be like the best, NOT to be like the lackluster shallow Gears/Halo games

[QUOTE="shadiezz2012"][QUOTE="voicereason"][QUOTE="shadiezz2012"] the last of us is very open ...not linear and the gameplay elements offer you alot of freedom to do what you want many times i have skipped places and didn't kill or stealth any one

This this and this Also the Last of Us has some of the most tense, thoughtful, and engaging combat i have ever played PERIOD (best gun play too) You can tackle encounters in a wide variety of ways - startagise and pick enemies off in stealth or go for a full frontal assult IF you have the resources... Whats awesome is that even if you get caught in stealth thats not the end of it like it would be in other stealth games. In Last of Us the gameplay then frantically picks up as sh!t hits the fan and you still have options (run away, lose guards naturally and pick them off in a game of cat and mouse, meele etc) Its some of the most organic and adpative stealth ive ever played. Even if you are caught it naturally keeps going and you have to adapt and come with a gameplan! You always have the options to play how you want no matter what The combat is very sand box like in Last of Us You are even encouraged to explore in the Last of Us so that you can find items to craft in real time to use for combat...and you have the options to craft for offensive or defensive purposes The Last of Us has VERY open engaging gameplay-and very well thought out gameplay mechanics . The Last of Us would still be a fantastic game based on just its gameplay merits alone. Last of Us has some of the best gameplay ive ever played. The fact it comes together with such an amazing story and characters so perfectly is what makes Last of Us so damn special So yeah, when people spout off about Last of Us like that you can tell they are trolls who have never played it. LOL at xbox fanboys even acting like the shallow gameplay in Gears or Halo can even touch the much more meaningful gameplay in Last of Us

take it easy man SW is a place to have fun

You agree with me though right? Also im calm as can be. And i love you as a poster but what a weird comment to make. Wonder what gave you that impression lol Im sorry i dont take kindly to known trolls and its an open forum so i will adress my opinions. I at least backed up my opinions

[QUOTE="voicereason"]I can understand people hating on linear cinematic games like Gears and Halo. Gears and Halo do it WRONG. Gears and Halo are linear corridor scripted shoot fests. Gears anf Halo deserve all that hate and more But games like God of War and Metal Gear Solid DO IT RIGHT and deserve praise, especially Uncharted which is at the pinnacle and is the game that redefined action adventure If rhe Order does IT RIGHT it should deserve praise super600

Uncharted is linear and Halo depending on the game is not linear. Some parts of halo 4 are pretty open.

The point is that Uncharted not only did it RIGHT it redefined action adventure While Halo and especially Gears do it WRONG so they deserve the hate Also, the "more open" areas in Halo 4 are a joke lol Go play the Last of Us to see truly open world like gameplay in a fantastic setting (read my last post for further elaboration)

[QUOTE="ShoulderOfOrion"]lol more cinematic trash Nengo_Flow
but hypes up Quantum Break.... :roll:

Haha this times a million. Alan Wake was overly linear and had garbage uninspired shallow gameplay mechanics Alan Wake along with Gears is cinematic gaming DONE WRONG Remedy games isnt going to suddenly get it over night. Remedy has always sucked as a developer (Max Payne 1 was a fluke) and Quantic Break will be more of the same cinematic linear shallow garbage that Alan Wake was

I also find it hilariously ironic how Nintendo fanboys are the ones who do the most complaining about modern cinematic games WHEN IN FACT all of their old rehashed to death Nintendo franchises contain nothing but shallow gameplay taken straight out of the 80s Nintendo fans always thrash the traversal in Uncharted YET in Mario games all you do is hold right on the joy stick while pressing the jump buttom at different times etc. See Nintendo fans, you can discredit any game in the fashion you guys do;) Nintendo fans are the most annoying wannabe hipster douches in the universe
