My farewell to CNET... errr... Gamespot?

I am leaving this buggy, glitchy, poorly run, managed and handled site.

I won't be collecting games anymore so there is no reason for me to stay whatsoever. since CNET killed off everything good about Gamespot, all that kept me here was the collection features. without a game collection, I have no interest in this site.

I was going to leave silently... but I've had so many wonderful friends do that... and I know how much it sucks. so I decided to leave a sort of farewell address... not saying I'M wonderful... I'm probably the opposite... but at least I'm a little better then 8-bit master, propyro, and the others that just poofed away...

I'd like to say that I'm sorry to all my friends here and I'd like to say you're welcome to the many people who have learned to hate me for whatever reason.

if for any reason you wish to keep in touch, use one of the following:

to everyone else, see you in the future!

more and more every day... or is it less and less?

more of my collection for sale... less of my collection I have... what a concept...

this week has been swealtering heat... my appt has gotten to 109 degrees! how fun is that?! anyway, despite this, I've managed to put more games up for sale in the Candid Colectors Union... only a few have been claimed... and I'm adding more seemingly every day... this is the thread for the lazy people who don't like navigating

also, I've been unable to game because of the heat... though I did play a little popolocrois while listening to godsmack while waiting for the bus... I needed to food shop v_v

back from suspension and it was totally worth it.

I'm selling/trading my first batch of games in the (first) CCU... all unopened PS2/XB/GCN games. if you're interested... you better hope you're a member there.

also, I'm going to be leaving Gamespot when my collection days are over. this site has been terrible in many, many ways since CNET took over... the only reason I stayed this long was the collection tool. same with IGN... but IGN didn't have the CCU, I stayed active here for that... but without a collection... why bother?

ok, you all are so curious...

yes, I'm selling my collection, no it has nothing to do with my previous blogs... and honestly, I think I owe you all an explanation.. even if it's a pain in my ass... and frankly none of your buisiness...

anyway, as some of you remember, I was dating a gal a few weeks ago... which seemed to end abruptly with no explanation... but the real explanation was something of an odity... what I was more or less unaware of is that she was moving back to her homeland of Norway... and was afraid to ask me to go with her because of well... all my stuff... we both like games but lets face it, moving this much stuff from one country to another is.. more or less... impossible... and well, a little over a day after that
eviction thing... I got a strange voicemail from her... turns out she was so depressed about the way she left things she had to talk to me... anyway, we talked and talked... and long story short... I'm gonna get out of this **** country before my money is worth nothing and the nazi-like government and society starts outlawing thought. don't say it wont happen... it could. people are getting worse as a whole... anyway, that's not important... the thing is, yes; I am selling my collection. and it's because I can't transport all of it to Norway and have no where here to leave it... so that just leaves selling. and selling it shall be. I'm not selling EVERYTHING and I'm not
selling the rare or big-money games to people here, sorry, you'll have to bid on ebay like everyone else. but I will sell everything else to whoever I see fit in the CCU. so if you aren't a member, I sugest checking that place out now.

that is all. thank you. now stop buging me about it...

quick update...

all the names are redacted for whatever reason...

well, it seems the manager himself is on my side... not his "partners"... let me give you the play by play...

I get to the meeting... I felt very nervous... very. I felt like vomiting... I was sweating... kinda felt like crying... was dizzy... anyway... there was a sign on the door reading "eviction hearing" (clearly made by the "partner" to make me feel like crap... this thing did not exist before this) anyway, I walk in the room, chairs in a circle... it felt like an intervention or AA meeting... the head of the tennants said "take a seat hun" I did... I'm practically shaking at this point... I turned to the landlord... he winked at me... (I don't know much about the gays but I fond that a bit strange...) and I instantly started thinking "what the hell is going on here" in my head... and the head lady said "are you aware of why we brought you here" I chocked down a gulp... said "yes ma'am" she said "good, mr ******* please read the vote" (I seriously almost puked right here and my eyes got so blury... I thought I might pass out) the landlord pulls out the ballot box (an old shoebox with a slit)...took the folded papers and began writing on a clip-board... I seriously was practically in shock at this point... he wrote something down and passed it to the person to his left and said softly "pass this to **** (the head of the tenents)" I watched this clip-board get passed around the semi-circle like it was the last thing I'd ever see... it felt like an eternity... it finally gets to the head of the tennants... she unfolds the paper then reads it... I serioulsy threw up in my moth... and had to just swallow it... she looks around the room... and then at me... and then back at the paper... and says "by a vote of 6 to 4, **** ****** will not be evicted at this time" at that point I sorta didn't know what was going on... I definitely didn't feel better... I glanced towards **** (the partner)to see one of the most evil looks I've ever recieved.... it felt like he was trying to kill me with his eyes... and at that point I glanced bak at the head of the board... she said "congradulations hun, you can go now." I chocked down a swallow... and tried to catch my breath a bit... then said "thank you ma'am"(admittedly I stutered a bit trying to get that out, I think my voice cracked a little too) and I proceded to get out of the chair (feeling reiculously sick and dizzy) I barely managed to get out of the room... I fell down not two steps out the door... and crawled back to my little piece of hell... I just layed on the floor for a bit until deciding to write this... I still have a pounding headache and still feel like vomiting... and still feel a little dizzy... but I guess I'm not homeless... yet...
