I just did the same thing, i made a post before the slim came out asking who else was going to get rid of their faulty xbox for a PS3 and i got bashed by M$ fan lovers, my thing broke 4 times, almost every form of breaking, disk scratching, RROD, no video but audio, and disk unreadable.

M$ isn't losing a lot considering how much they make but 300$ here 50$ there from people not buying games really adds up my game count was up in the 20's so at least from me there losing 300$ a year.

As much as i hate M$ now (wow 4th broken xbox and all you can say is the new jasper models won't do it? Well then buy me one A-holes!) There is no way sony will charge for online, it is one of their strong points it's one of many reasons this price cut is helping them out.

Customer says "i want a game system i can play online, whoa?!?!? free online with wi-fi built in? sold." of course maybe someone who is smarter than a rock because i made this guy sound like a rock but youget my point. That's like the Xbox getting rid of there exclusive DLC, it's one of their selling points. Well that's all have a good day. :)

Man i have been trying to find my dreamcast and this would make my year.

I mean i have a PS2 but i wouldn't mind playing FFX in hi def at all.

And to people saying that they are going to price this games crazy expensive, it depends on popularity, the PS1 games MGS1 and FF7 cost 10$ (really cheap since people want to sell them for crazy.) I think15-20$ would be fair, imean i can only hope they don't go all M$ on us.

My favorite game series is Metal Gear Solid, now if i made a post like this and asked "why is MGS bashed so much?" and people had opinions i respect that and listen to them, halo fanboys on the other hand don't listen orthey make points so redundant that it makes them look like a tool.

Cut it out with the IGN and Gamespot gave it good reviews nonsense,I love army of two and i think battlefield bad company is the best online game i have ever played. Now gamespot gave it a 7.5 for army of two and a 8.5 or 8.0 for battlefield bad company. Websites are biased, i never read there reviews just user reviews.

Now you can think Halo is the god of FPS that's fine because unlike you i will respect your opinion and not bash you or what you think.

When i was younger and didn't have bills and things like that i would buy games never rent, most times i would play a game twice then never touch it again resulting in a lot of "lost money".

Now that i am older i like to use this feature, for exampleif i spend 30$ a month and rent 2 games i wanted to buy i just saved 90$, but if one of those two games i like and i know it's a buy i buy it and still save 30$.

It's really good to have for around the holidays when all those great games come out but you just want to be "extra safe".

What's a ripoff is all this DLC that is kind of stuffed down your throat.

Ive had 1 new disc drive and then YLOD (Where they replaced the motherboard, you dont have to believe me, But i know this cause I know they guy who repaired my PS3) Either way, My PS3 is going strong at the moment, with quicker fan speed increase compared to before my YLOD I have all the faith in the world my PS3 wont encounter a problem again If it does... Ive had such a possitive encounter with Sony support I dont fear if my PS3 does go faulty. Sony Support are excelent to deal with. Hope this view helps :-)Joker1232003
