First off i want to state that if there is already a topic like this i apoligize, i looked but i didn't see one and i didn't feel like searching to far. (Lazy)

But the topic is self explanatory, I doubt i am the only one but i would like to hear your guy's reason's though.

Mine was the lack of quality, my xbox crapped out on me 3 times.

50$ a year for xbox live when i only played 9 months with 3 months it's down in Texas.

It seems that M$ would make you pay to turn on the damn thing sometimes. :(

So what other reason's did you guys leave them? (If you plan on it.)

Oh and bring the bashing Xbox guy's, I'm prepared.

I had xbox live for 2 years and i loved it, except the 50$ a year and taking money out of my debit card and having to call them to talk to someone who i can't even understand for 30 minutes. /end rant.

Anyways my problem is i payed 50$ a year and had to fix my xbox 3 times, now i have completely junked that system and am moving on to the PS3, i played PSN at my buddy's house to get a feel and i didn't mind it one bit, i didn't get lag, game crashed, or any of that. I guess it changes from person to person.

I wouldn't mind paying 50$ a year if i didn't have to pay 100$ per repair.

Oh and before someone says "Well get a new one they don't do that." Sure you buy me one i will gladly get a new one, i shouldn't have to buy a new system because M$ decided to get a head-start on the console with a total disregard of quality. (Again there are people who have a launch box that hasn't broke on them.)

So i mean it's up to you i guess everyone in here has diff. opionions the great thing is though, you canalways check out PSN for free and see for yourself :).

I bash the xbox because i have had to send it in for re-pair way to many times, and people always say "buy a new one" well if you want to buy it for me go for it, i don't want to buy 2 consoles because the first one was poorly made.

I just don't like the immaturity of XBL if the PSN is the same way well at least ill be playing for free and with no worry about it dying out.

Anyways back to the mature crowd. The reason i am moving to the PS3 with the price-drop is the same reason you dread it, i bought a 360 it was cheaper and i was itching for a new console.

With this new price drop i can drop my 360 that costs me repair costs every other month i'm moving to the PS3 because of the mature crowd and the lack of little boys who scream and shout and play obnoxious music like jerk-offs.

Let's hope this doesn't happen or only people with a maturity level higher than that of a 8th grader will join the PSN.

Reality check kiddo, even PS3 online has those kind of "people". How can you generalize "maturity" because you play a certain video game console? Where is the "intelligence" in that statement?

No because i don't own one but i have a buddy who does and says the PSN is a much more enjoyable expierence.

So i guess your right, i was wrong to generalize but if you can sit here and say that the XBL has less annoying ass's then the PSN i doubt that as the TC said most people on PSN have a mor mature crowd. Well the one thing i can say as an opionion is that my best friend who i've been friends for since grade school owns a PS3 and in the beginning my Xbox was the system of choice but with the problems i have had with my xbox is just to much.

People always say "well the new ones work fine" That's great i don't have a new one and i dont have money to spend on a new one or getting it fixed every other month. I mean everyone i know who has a xbox about 2/3 of themhave sentthem in. No one with a PS3 has had a problem, and free online less little children it seems and an overall more enjoyable expierence (SP isn't my greatest of gifts).

I mean i don't want to sound like i'm worshipping PS3's feet but i have had so many problems with m$ and there horrible customer service ripping you off for EVERYTHING (pretty soon your going to have to pay to turn on the damn console) I just hope that this new slim will wipe the floor withM$ much like the PS2.

Sorry for the rant i just want to speak my mind, and forums seem to be a good place to do it. :)

Another thing i'm not going to miss the immaturity of an xbox board. People here help me without calling me a noob that lives in my mother's basement, or something to do with my mother.

I would just like to say i am a 360 owner and i have been waiting for this day that the PS3 would become slim/ price drop now i dont have to spend another 100$ to get my xbox fixed. Again.

The great thing is that i know for a fact i'm not the only one switching from m$ to PS3. But i have a question. Will the slim still have the wireless internet already in it?
