Still on the fence about the PS3. I don't like the way they have several different versions out there, and especially the fact that 60GB and 80GB models are pretty hard to come by. Can't make myself settle for a 40GB so I've been sort of toying around with the idea of picking up the 80GB MGS4 bundle, but I dunno... I'm not a huge MGS fan, and it'll be a while yet before there are any killer apps (for me). Admittedly LittleBigPlanet and Valkyria Chronicles both look pretty boss, but there are enough games scheduled to hit the 360 around that same time that I just don't especially see the need to invest in a PS3 yet. My gaming time is already pretty limited.

But, of course, if the PS3 has a life comparable to the PS2's, then I'm sure I'll eventually pick one up. Even if it's only when they hit bargain basement prices!

I'd love to see a Shenmue sequel. As would my friend- it would be the one thing that could make him finally get off the fence and buy a 360.

1. Marcus Fenix

2. Master Chief

3. The Prince (from the Katamari games... I realize they're not XBox exclusive, but whatever, I'm a cheat)

4. Ryu Hayabusa (same as above - he spends a lot of time on MS systems lately)

5. Kaim Argonar (Lost Odyssey)

6. Horstachio (Viva Pinata)

7. Marumaro (Blue Dragon)

8. Kameo

9. King Kong

10. The Hero from Fable

11. Otis (Dead Rising)

12. Bill Gates

It's very charming with its Fable-esque aesthetic and sense of humor, and I've found it to be pretty fun in small doses but have had a hard time sitting down and finishing it. It just feels a bit vague at times and there's nothing that really makes me feel driven to do the next thing; at the same time there's no real sense of freedom, so it's not sandboxy at all. I think this is a rare case where the Gamespot review is spot on, no pun intended.

I don't see many AAA XBox exclusives in the near future, unless you count Too Human.

Left 4 Dead looks like a winner, too, but it's also coming out for PC.

Agreed that Dead Rising is awesome. And just like you, I also bought a 360 just to play it. :D

I'm crossing my fingers for a sequel and hoping that this lawsuit doesn't kill the franchise.

@Nocturnal15: I agree to some extent. I mean, I'm tired of Sony fanboys who trolls forums and rip endlessly on a product they clearly know little about. For example, "XBOX 360 ROFL MORE LIEK SHOOTERBOX 360 U HAV NO OTHER GAME JENRAYS(SP???)." But on the other hand, I'd hate to see the 360 die the death of a thousand cuts. I'm not saying they're in serious trouble, especially since MS can actually lose money on their games division and continue on pretty much as long as they want; but lately it's been a comedy of errors, and I'm wondering if they plan to start dealing with all the nagging problems. Those issues make the weird little stories of poor service (like this one) seem that much worse. IMHO, obviously.
