I won't even be buying an Xbox One but so many more developers should do this. If you've bought their previous games you should be rewarded. I don't necessarily mean game changing content, but just something nice - a token of respect.
The lighting effects and reflections do look pretty sweet for this, certainly can't fault them there.
To be fair to the guy it is kind of odd.. If they'd have got their messaging right in the first place they wouldn't have to be trying so damn hard to get sales.
Everyone loves a free game, of course they do. If Sony said FIFA14 came free with every pre-order too a lot of people would be ecstatic.
Fact of the matter is it's still cheaper to buy a PS4 and a copy of FIFA than it is to just buy the Xbox One with a copy for free. If anything that just shows how hideously over-priced the console is.
Kinect shouldn't have been mandatory, gamers didn't really want it this generation but now they've got no choice. MS invested far too much money into the R&D for the thing for it to fail. Folks will forget and move on though, always do.
I swear I'm the only person in the world that doesn't find Titanfall all that amazing :|
Maybe you just have to experience it..? I don't know. I think the entire FPS genre could just do with a rest in general to be honest. I'm more excited for the likes of Project Spark and Rime (games that actually look fresh). Jetpacks and Mechs have been done in Halo, free running in Brink. It's nothing new, just a mish mash of everything.
The only FPS I can truly saying I'm looking forward to is Half Life 3... Whenever that happens. That game will actually have a decent story AND gameplay.
@orangesonic @warhawk-geeby @Neo_OnionKnight My bad... I got the wrong end of the stick! I was referring to the fact EA will probably just make Titanfall the next COD, i.e. annual installments. Battlefield hasn't though (yet) so hopefully not.
Hmmm.. Should have seen this coming. Partnership with Microsoft and the DRM console...?
MS may have reversed their policies, but for EA it was already too late - a lot of their games will have already been in development.
I think an always online console is coming whether we like it or not.
Sony and Microsoft have both said used games are up to the publisher.. Requiring DRM to prevent used games? Seems like a legitimate business plan. The policies will gradually return for the Xbox One, and I wouldn't be surprised if Sony need to follow suit too.
