X-Play's Exclusive Content

Took a break from GameSpot yesterday to watch the live show that X-Play presented. As always, Allison and Blair did an incredible job interviewing and talking about some of the most anticipated game waiting for release.. Injustice: Gods Among Us gameplay content was shown which introduced two new characters. Batwing and Cyborg looked really dynamic. Cyborg bordered on the brink of invincibility while Batwing could be Batman' s insane little brother. Both characters will grab and keep your attention.

The trailer to Borderlands 2 is amazing. Awesome graphics and gameplay is slightly bombastic but nonetheless controllable. Keep any eye on this one. For Assassin's Creed III, parts of Boston were premiered and the new techniques available to Connor to deal with the new wider layout of this city. AC fans can't wait to get their hands on this one. It's revealed that Connor is part American Indian and part European. Release date October 30th.

Gears of War fans will have to wait a little longer for Judgement. Its release date was announced to be some time in March 2013. One dedicated fan at Comic-Con agreed to get a Gears tat in exchange for the release date. What dedication. How brave of him.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron was premiered and its release date will be August 21. Looks great.

Tomb Raider and Beyond Two Souls wrapped the show.

X-Play on again today. Hope it's as good as Day 1.

Sound is Good Frames are Bad.

What happen this time around. E3 was excellent. Picture and sound were in sync. None of this frame backlog that went on at the Live Stage Show. Totally not enjoyable. I'll try later. Maybe too much traffic.

Comic-Con 2012 is in the Building.

It's official, Comic-Con has started. I thought it fitting to use Comic Sans font style to write this blog entry. I like this style anyway. I have my TV tuned to G4 so that I can catch all the events. Can't wait . Everything I enjoy all in the same place. The games that are going to be previewed are excellent choices.

The people that show up at this event are truly dedicated fans. I always enjoy seeing the costumes and which character shows up the most. So everyone go ahead and enjoy. I know I will.

Where's the Profile?

Two months at GS and I have yet to figure out how to get to someone's Profile Page. Not the Fuse Profile but the actual page where everyone's info is located. The only way that I can get there is by clicking on their avatar in a forum. If I'm just reading What's Hot or My Feed and decide to check out a certain member, I'm taken to their Fuse Profile.

Am I doing something wrong or is this how it works? I really want to be able to go directly to the Profile Page. Thanks for any help.

Having More Fun

Hi all,

I just wanted to thank everyone for making this a great experience so far. I've been on The Spot for a little over two months. Getting around the site and seeing what is here is getting much more easier and satisfying. I still haven't done a lot but I'm getting there. The ones that have become my gaming friends are all so interesting and talented.

I've heard about this glitch that has made a comeback. I believe my level is suffering because of it. Level 7 seems to have found a safehouse on my profile page for the last week at least. Some of you are optimistic that the problem will get fixed soon. I hope so.

Well, I guess I'll get back to increasing my friends and games list. Keep gaming and having fun.

HAPPY 4th Everyone

Celebrate our independence safely and with much enthusiasm. It's our freedom that allows all of us to be here on GS hanging out and meeting new like minded people. I understand not all of us recognize this day in the same way. Have fun and enjoy your freedom to do what makes you happy.

Power outages

Big storms yesterday. Lots of people without power. Thankfully I'm not one of them. This heat wave is on big time and I hope those without power have found a way to keep cool.

Football{NFL}

I'n so ready for some football. Filling in with the NFL Network is great, but I really want to see the competition Who's coming out of college and will the be able to shine at a higher level. I love the Steelers. Always have and always will.

I wonder what impact this whole bounty situation will have on the Saints' season. We'll see soon enough.

Can't leave without mentioning Junior Seau #55...so tragic. RIP

New game releases

I'm just as excited as the next one when it comes to waiting for the next great game to be released. However, the games are over priced most of the time and who really wants to keep spending $60 for every game that hits the shelves. I don't. That's why I created my own artificial release date. I know the price will come down and when it does, that's when I make the purchase. I don't do this all the time because sometimes I'm just plain and simply weak. Like I had to have CoD Black Ops and of course Mafia II. Waiting a little while longer has worked for me. I get a brand new game and have gotten an opportunity to hear about the bugs that no one knew were there.
