In case anyone's wondering, or cared, why I haven't posted any blahgs in awhile, it's 'cuz I now blahg here.
http://www.auralalloy.blogspot.com
If you would like to follow me there, then you're more than welcome to! I may post one here every once in awhile. If I do it'll probably be about games. Who knows, though? I may start up a gaming blahg at Blogspot. I WILL keep you all informed if that happens, though.
Ugh, I've been here 5 years and have avoided being tagged until now. Booooo.

Like You Better Dead is Track 5 off of In Flames' "Soundtrack to Your Escape".
Red Dead Redemption launches tonight! At midnight! I will be at my local Gamestop to pick it up and play 'til the wee hours of the morning. Then I will sleep and get up to play some more. I have been wanting this game since I first heard about it. I'm sure many of you are the same. I don't understand anyone who isn't excited for this game. This includes my girlfriend. I KNOW this isn't her type of game, but c'mon! It's about cowboys! With a HEAVY Spaghetti Western influence! What's not to love?
I grew up on Eastwood. I love those movies. This game looks to evoke that feeling in game form. Anticipation has swelled to mammoth proportions. Nay, biblical proportions! This sh*t is epic! Like the unleashing of 1,000 doves before you slaughter the onlookers. Epic like eating a brick of cheese in 2 minutes! This sh*t can't be stopped!
I'm off to catch up on the internets and await the 23rd hour of the day. I will then be enroute to join Mr. Marston's posse and embark with him on his errands. That doesn't sound very epic. There isn't any cheese brick eating in my writing. That's why.
OUT!
P.S. I hope the [over] 2 month wait for my latest rant was worth it. If not, then that's just too d*mn bad. You'll have to wait for me to redeem myself with the next one.
"You Ain't Got A Hold On Me" is Track 6 off of Australia's version of AC/DC's High Voltage.
I picked up God of War III last night on my way home from the airport [I was flying in from a week in Cali] and I haven't played it yet. The Cali trip is why I didn't pick it up on day one. I could've went to the midnight but we had an early flight. We flew out the day of it's release. I assume at some point today I'll play it. Maybe I'll wait 'til tonight. I'm not really sure.
I know I was supposed to give you a better update than this. I'm not really sorry for that. I'm a HUGE procrastinator [as you can tell]. And honestly, I just haven't really felt like typing much as of late. If you guys [possibly a gal or two] can hold out I'm sure I'll give you a decent blahg post here in the future. I'm absolutely certain that your lives are waiting on hold for just that event. :P
I'm not French [I don't think], but I'm going to bid you adieu. I SWEAR that I'll post an actual blahg update in the future. I just can't really give you an ETA [Estimate Time of Anticipation :P]. There WILL be one.....sometime.
God! I never thought I'd put up anything "Korn" as my topic heading! That's immediately what popped in my head, though! Just so you know, I don't like the band. At all.
Anyway! Now is not the time. More to come.......SOON.
Man, I am such a liar! Though, I did warn all of you that I might NOT post a new blahg. The truth of it is, I've just been lazy. I have no excuse and will not try to conjure one for entertainment purposes. Though, I will post a random "About Me" that I stumbled across whilst trying to seek out a friend in Amazon's Wishlist Finder. And so it goes:
"I like to weave baskets underwater, with camel hair while eating cold purple twinkies and wearing those kid floaties on my ankles to keep my pimpin pumas dry, much to the delight of all my lady fans."
Hope that gave you some form of enjoyment. I'll TRY and post a blahg soon. I'm about due for another one. I will say that I, yet again, don't know what I have to talk about, but I'm sure I'll be able to come up with something. I've said it before and am then shocked at how much I've typed by the time I'm done with the latest and greatest. Or is it lamest and gradius? What?
There might be a new blahg incoming........keep your ears perked and your a$$es on the edge of your respective seats.
All Secrets Known is Track 1 off of Alice In Chains' album "Black Gives Way to Blue".
Well.......well. I hardly know where to start. It's not that I have a ton to talk about. Quite the contrary, actually. And that's not to say that nothing's happened. Nothing worth mentioning. I guess that's it.
I received Alice's newest effort in the mail today. Listening to it as I type this. Can you tell? No? Didn't think so. I know a lot of people are hung up about the fact that they have a new singer. No Alice without Layne!! Well, I agree and disagree. If that makes sense or is even possible. I mean, yes, it's not quite the same without Mr. Staley's efforts, but it is f*cking nice to hear these guys jamming again. They've been sorely missed. I kind of think of it like this. If AC/DC can do it, why not Alice? Their band names both start with the same letter for chrissakes! That has to stand for something! Doesn't it?
So far, I'm really digging on the album. It's Alice, tried and true. If you consider yourself a fan of this band [and really, who honestly doesn't?] I'd recommend picking this up. Bare in mind, I've only heard the first two track so far. I'm currently on the third.
Onto the next! As of late I've been busy moving my music from my external to my newly acquired Macbook Pro. Unfortunately, most of my back catalogue of music was ripped in WMA format. Sh*tty. I've re-ripped most of the CDs I care to move over. The few that I don't physically have [or couldn't track down, where they are is a mystery to me] I've used the program Switch to convert them to MP3 format. That sh*t transfers to anything. I'm still not quite done, but.....I have no end to this sentence. Sorry.
Recently, I've also picked up Devildriver's "Devildriver", Megadeth's "Endgame", Dropkick Murphys "Sing Loud, Sing Proud", "Blackout", "The Warrior's Code", Blue Oyster Cult's "Don't Fear the Reaper: Best of", and Neurotica's "Living in Dog Years". I just realized that that's a lot of music. Truthfully, I found Neurotica's album in a $2 bin at my local FYE. So, that makes it all worth it ;P.
DEVILDRIVER: Dez's voice is a bit different on this album. More specifically, from his latest offerings. It's even a bit different from his Coal Chamber stuff. Seems more Black Metal-ly to me. If I have my sub-genres of Metal correct. I definitely prefer his voice on "The Last Kind Words" & "Pray for Villains" more than their 1st. It isn't un-listenable by any means. Just a preference. From what I've heard of this album, though, it's a keeper. I'm a Devildriver fan. Just to be clear, it was "The Last Kind Words" that even got me listening to this band. That's the album I hold above all the rest.
MEGADETH: This is a good album. Megadeth back to basics, essentially. No weird commercialization here. I don't really know how to describe this. It's Speed Metal. Dave can still rip. Anyone who had their doubts needs to give this a spin. He's damn near 50. Awesome. People can say what they want about Mustaine, but I like him. He's kinda like Phil Anselmo [Pantera, Down] to some people. They won't even give him a chance 'cuz he has a.....personality. There's ego there for sure. I still like these guys, though. They're some of the best at what they do. People that deny that are just ignorant. Plain and simple.
NEUROTICA: This is a band that many have missed out on simply 'cuz they never really got a chance. They never got the big push they so rightly deserved. Their first album is from '98, right in the middle of all that Nu-Metal bullsh*t. Since they didn't fit in that demographic, they were pushed to the back burner. Some of you may know of them as they were part of Ozzfest in '01, I think. One of the Ozzfests around that time. I actually heard of them from WWF. Back when it still had the "F". Their song "Ride of Your Life" was featured as the theme song for one of the pay-per-views. I then commenced in downloading some of their other tracks through KaZaa [remember that f*cker?]. If you like Hard Rock from the late 90's, give these guys a chance. They actually have more influence from the early 90's than the latter. Especially on their album "Seed". Great band. Great singer.
BLUE OYSTER CULT: I have nothing to say about this. "People who buy Best ofs are Posers!". F*ck you. I've only ever heard 3 songs from this band. I'm not about to go and buy a full album off of a few songs. Especially not of a band from the 70's. Some of that sh*t is weeeeiiiiird. It's pretty good, though. I don't like all of the tracks. The band is pretty inconsistent in tone/feel. Their earlier work seems more dark while their latter work is more accessible [for lack of a better word]. I prefer their earlier stuff [as if you didn't already know].
That's it! I'm out! I guess I had more to say than I thought. Didn't plan on giving you brief reviews, either. Just kinda happened. It'll give you something to read on the crapper, I suppose. Only if you have a laptop. Don't bring your desktop in there. Unless you spend ungodly amounts of time on the sh*tter. What're you doing, anyway? Just f*cking push it out already!
P.S. I'm now on Track 7 of "Black Gives Way to Blue". Yeah, I'm not revoking my statement from earlier. Take it or leave it. Your choice.
I need to post a newer blahg. One incoming soon! I know, you're all so thrilled.
