[QUOTE="benz1980i"]I work at a large Westfield shopping centre. I always look for a bargin when I make a purchase and have access to many stores that sell games.
DONT BUY GAMES FROM EB GAMES, OR GAME. They over charge sometimes upwards of up to $30. Its staggering to see often their second hand versions of their new games are more expensive. I have seen games selling for $30 at other stores selling for $99 at EB Games.
EB are good for price matching- I work closer to EB so it is more energy effient for me to go there with a cataloge, get a price match and a 7 day no questions asked exchange.
Big W and JB HI FI eaisly have the cheapest prices. Often when a game is released those stores sell the game $10 cheaper to gain the edge. I find it is common to find new released games for $89. You'll find that after the first inital week for sale that the price will go up as they make alot of sales in that first week. If a game doesn't sell well within a month or two then it is common to see it selling for $59.
I think the adverage price in Australia is around the $80 mark for a new game. Obviously stores have sales and it is common to find the odd bargin here or there. Trick is to look at the cataloges you get in the mail and browse stores before you make your purchase. It could save you $10.
ur right the adverage price fora new gameis 80. u would thing people would price check. jb hi fi isbest
