MGS4 is a magnificent masterpiece. Thats all I really have to say about the game. I played about 1 hour of the campaign and so far it has hooked me in and convinced me that there is no equal to this games greatness. I own all three game consoles and want to say that the 360 and gears of war 2 have its work cut out for them to try and top this game. I am a newbie to the MGS franchise and I can confidentaly say that this game has my heart and soul and online dedication for being a sweet and aweinspiring piece of art. The online is a stelllar piece of work to say the least. I wasnt a big fan of the online beta it just seemed slow and dead if you will. But playing the online portion for a good 3 hours last night I have to say that the development team worked out what they need to work out to make the online portion a fantastic multiplayer experience. :D

I never played a Smash Bros. Game until now. (Yes I tell the truth) So for my first ever smash experience comes brawl and what a brawl it is. The games graphics for the Wii....are phenomenal and are so impressive it can make an army of GameCubes cry like babies. I'm not going to go into too much detail because if your like me you read about all the hundreds of previews and reviews of this game by now so let me carry on to the sound. The sound is a treasure all in its own. Nintendo put so much hard work and energy into the sound you will hear nothing much sweet classic Nintendo bliss when you start the game up so from the very beginning you're in big n heaven. The list of characters spans over 30 big n names from the past including my personal favorite. Sonic! and some guy named snake. The controls are tight and ofcourse vary from one of the many controller options you have. Since I never played the GameCube version I'm sticking with my Wii Classic controller. The fun factor is off the roof and is why the smash games get so much praise; the multiplayer just can't be beat. The online department needs to be patched and patched quickly for the lag is too overbearing to even stay in a match when you fight others that are not your friends. Overall this game gets a 9.5/10 for outstanding visuals and funtastic fun factor. Just wish the lag can be sorted out and by the why Nintendo "WHERES THE VOICE SUPPORT" get with the times. The game is great, go out and buy it now.

I am an owner of both a ps3 and a 360 and when I purchased MLB 2K8 for the 360 I knew I made a mistake. For my review of how TERRIBLE 2K8 was check out the my user review page of 2K8 and you'll find out. I was fortunate enough to have the great guys at gamestop give me a giftcertificate for my return of my new copy of 2K8 being that you can only return a new item for the same item with no refunds, but they understood how terrible 2K8 was they gave me my money back. Thanks GameStop.

Now on to MLB 08 The Show. After taking back 2K8 I had a hard time finding a copy of the show at my local gamestops and a day went by until i had to drive 10 miles out of my way to find a copy. When I did I took it home and played the hell out of it. I finally new why many reviewers gave the show so many great reviews. The game is damn near perfect. The graphics where built from the ground up to utilize the PS3's power and it shows from the amazing looking crowd to the little things that pop up within the player animations. The stadiums are all done very accuratley the animations again are done smoothly and unlike 2K8 there is NO FRAMRATE ISSUES in this game what so ever. The game runs at an amazing 60 frames per second and you will fall in love with the way the game of baseball is portrayed in this title. The presentation is stellar with mayking you feel like you are watching a real baseball game on tv. The guys at sony took the good advice of "if its not broke not fix it" as regards to the gameplay. All I have to say is this game is a must buy for a baseball fan or casual fan of the sport. If you dont have a ps3 this is the soul reason to buy one because its the first time I seen a game on the ps3 thats better than anything the 360 has to offer as regards to a baseball title. Please take my word for it MLB the Show is a much better and smarter buy than the garbage they call 2K8.

Go out and buy it now you wont regret it.

Call of Duty 4 goes far and beyond what anyone thought the 360 had left in it. Me personally? I thought the 360 maxed out when Gears of War hit the scene. After Halo 3 arrived I thought that the 360 again maxed out as far as features go. Now that Call of Duty 4 is in the hands of trigger happy 360iets, I must say that the 360 has proven me wrong again.

Graphics: Call of Duty puts you in the middle of a war with excellent graphics so real, so photorealistic it actually makes this game a HUGE contender for Game of the Year on graphics alone. Everything has a shadow, the dynamic lighting, the animations are all abosolutly amazing.

Sounds: Top notch sound puts the sound of war right in your living room. The sound of bullets to helicopters makes you want to soil yourself with the fear of war.

Fun Factor: The games short story is told in great cinimatic form that you will easily forget how short it is. The Mulitplayer will have you addicted to your tv set for hours if not days. You will not want to put your controller down after getting your first couple of promotions in the Multiplayer.

My suggestion is if you like war games, if you like FPS's in generall you would be very wise to pick this up right away.

I have to say after finishing this game I am absolutly PLEASED to the highest extent. The value in this package (regular edition) is more than worth your sixty dollars by far. Halo 3 puts to shame any contenders for game of the year by value alone. If you are a Halo fan get this game immediatley, if not ( I cant understand why you wouldnt be) get this game immediatley. What a PERFECT way to end this classic series. Lets start with...

Graphics: The graphics are simply superb! While not the same "Look" as G.O.W. the games graphics are without a doubt equal in all respects due to its polish and insane amount of detail. From environments to the weapons you hold to destroy the covenant and the Flood. Oh and the explosions are amazing.

Sound: A perfect 10 out of 10 for sound. This games climatic feel is put over the top with great sound effects and a score that can only be described as a masterpiece.

Control/Gameplay: Its halo, plays like halo and most joyfully feels like halo. Anyone who has ever played a Halo game will feel right at home with the controls and there easy enough for a noob to feel confortable.

Mutliplayer: This alone warrants your sixty bucks. I couldnt be more serious when I say if they made this game Multiplayer only that would have been fine with me. The forge and replay additions to the game need no description and only need to be tryed to see its true greatness. The matches you find online are classic Halo and with updated graphics and many new additions you will be playing this game for years to come.

Value: Its all there baby, go out and by this game now. They could have charged eighty dollars for this game and it still would be an Unbelievable value almost a steal for the amount of fun and enjoyment you will get out of this Game Of the Year no Game Of The Decade title.

Yes its true, Metroid Prime Corruption for the Wii the third iteration in the Metroid Prime series will NOT HAVE ONLINE MULTIPLAYER. Even though the Metroid Prime: Hunters game for the Nintendo DS had Online Multiplayer the Wii Metroid will not. How many times do I have to say it, COME ON NINTENDO GET WITH THE TIMES ONLINE IS THE FUTURE. I am so shocked at the news of no online with this game that it makes me pissed that Nintendo refuses to get online with there games especially with such a high profile blockbuster game like Metroid Prime: Corruption. I will tell you right now and for the record this decision by Nintendo to not implement Online Multiplayer into this game will stop me from buying the game. Nintendo won't even get a rental from me. Sorry the single player may be good but after the single player campaign is over what next Nintendo? play the game on another difficulty? I dont think so.

Well as you can tell from my eager title for this blog I finally have a Playstation 3. I have posted a few pics of my beauty below for you all to see. As you can see I am very excited. I have owned like many of you a Playstation console or handheld. I am in no way a Sony fanboy you all should know that since most of my blogs have been about the XBOX 360 or the Wii. Owning a Playstation 3 now just gives me more to write about. This is a beautiful machine and a powerful one. I do have one game so far for it, Resistance: Fall of Man. This is a very good titlemost likelythe best launch title for the Playstation 3. The 40 players in the online multiplayer, the engaging single player campaign and the great graphics were more than enough to warrent the pick up. I still wish Sony would devote more time in grooming the Playstation Network to better compete with the XBOX Live. So in the weeks to come I will now be posting news on Playstation 3 including the most recent news, games and downloads. Take a look at the pics below.
