[QUOTE="punchacku"]

The games are not processed through high defition but it does support the component cables.....and there is a difference between using the main three and the five.

wheelerxbox

Yea, it does. But it'll still only be running at 480p, the picture is better but still nothing like the 360 / PS3.

You can use an up-converterbut it's not true HD. And still doesn't look as good. The Wii has some good looking games. Some of them are better than some 360 and PS3 titles. But for every graphically amazing SD game, there's an graphically amazing HD game to beat it. (please note that I still love my Wii, I'm just acknoledging that it is not HD)

Arc Rise Fantasia is your only turn-based option if you're in America/Canada (or Europe, for that matter). However, she may enjoy Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. Not turn-based but not overly complex either. Plus, you can drop in for co-op multiplayer locally or online.

I did a little digging, and the Wii version will have all the chapters, but not the internets feature. The internets feature will ad content right to the game a la Angry Birds. So if you but the game, it will have all the dlc up to that point. If you bought the game before the dlc, you can update it. Wiiware version will probably just have all the dlc in it already because of Nintendo's online system.

@LegatoSkyheart We haven't heard any news of a WiiWare release since it's XBLA release was announced.

Fixed the title. Sorry guys!

You have the whole game mixed up

Super Meat Boy is going to be the same on all platforms except for the fact that the team is releasing the game on sale everywhere but the Wii because they can't

Also the game is getting free DLC everywhere but the Wii

Jaysonguy

Wiiware version is getting all the DLC. You're correct about the sale thing, though. Nintendo really needs to improve their download service (starting with the DOWNLOAD CAP!).

uh....It's been a Go for awhile.

They didn't say it was canceled or what not.LegatoSkyheart

Yes, but we haven't heard much news since summer. When a game like that goes in the dark for a while, it's usually not a good sign. Look at Puzzle Agent WiiWare or Duke Nukem Forever (at least that survived, but died quite a few times).

I really really Really want Super Meat Boy. However, my console of choice is a Wii (and PC), not an Xbox 360. Many of you may remember that the original platform for the Super Meat Boy was WiiWare. However, we haven't heard much news for it. So I emailed:

So is Super Meat boy still coming out on wiiware? And will it be the full version or will it only have some of the levels of the xbla game?Me

Edmund says:

we are working on it, the goal is for it to have all the chapters the pc and xbox have minus the internets feature.Edmund McMillen

Tommy says:

Yes and its a full version.Tommy Refenes

Word for word, punctuation for punctuation (praise the lord for copy and paste :P ). Hang tight, fanboys!

P.S. What's the "internets feature?"

For those games? Yes, definitely. I'm picking up a PSP just for Monster Hunter Freedom 3. And maybe KHBBS.

For those of you who can't cross your eyes:

As it says in the beginning, they can't really film the real 3D effect because it requires your naked eyes on the screen. However, it's kind of displayed from 0:56-1:05. See how you can tell exactly where the characters are in terms of depth?

My question is: Do you think OnLive would consider bringing it to the service? Or is it even possible? (eg, Square Enix hasn't partnered with them, startup process isn't something they could replecate, ect.)

I've really wanted to play Final Fantasy XIV. I know people keep complaining about how horrid it is, but I don't mind grinding or researching outside sources in order to do something in-game. However, my only computer that could play it on minimum settings is a Mac, which is not supported :P. So I questioned the OnLive team about FF 14 for OnLive (that way I could play it on my mac or my netbook :) ). Their response:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting OnLive. I'm glad to hear you are enjoying our service! While we can not divulge exactly when and what games we'll be releasing ahead of time, please make sure to check the Marketplace regularly.

For updates on OnLive and any expansion of our service, please be sure to check in regularly with our website (http://www.onlive.com) as well as our official blog (http://blog.onlive.com).

Feel free to contact us if you have any more questions or comments.

Thanks,

Eric
Customer Service Representative

While he is, of course, not stating anything, I think they would've come right out and said if it wasn't going on OnLive. Is there a string of hope for it coming to the cloud? Or is the game really terrible enough that I should just forget the idea of playing it?

I hope you have the option to choose between the standard and over-the-shoulder view, though.
