Hi! I need a new screen for a small PC (I will not post specs to protect this thread from becoming a "bash wes008's setup thread"). Because this will be in a small study-space, it has to be under 15 inches. Speakers not necessary. Must be at least 720 pixels high, and I would like HDMI input but VGA or DVI work too. So, it could be a TV, or a dedicated monitor. All this for under $100. Anyone know of something that would fit the bill?

Here is my order:

1. Luigi's Mansion 2! (look at my sig :) )

2. Super Mario 3D

3. Paper Mario 4

4. Mario Kart 3D

I want all of these games and I know they will be fantastic, but I have a ton of nostalgia from Luigi's Mansion.

Bring DK 64 to Wii VC. Bring a new DK game to 3DS.

Hey guys. Some of you may or may not know about Neal Tew's (aka DSJumbotron guy) 3DS screen capture card/device. Well, here's a pic of the work-in-progress to give you an idea:

On the back are 2 HDMI ports, for displaying each screen on televisions, and a mini usb port for recording the files on your PC or Mac. This is a better option than Nintendo's capture device included in their PR kits because their devices are limited in supply (very hard to get right now, just ask Knightwing01) and cost thousands of dollars. Not something for the average gamer who want to upload machinima.

However, we haven't heard much about Mr. Tew's shmexy system it in the past month or so, so I contacted him about it. A few days ago, he emailed me this response:

Sorry for the late reply. I't'll be a while before it's ready, a couple of months at least. I don't know about the price yet. When it's closer to being finished, I'll let you know.Neal Tew

So at least it's still on the way. Cross your fingers, folks! If you would like to check out DSJumbotron guys's other works hit the following link:

Game Crunch recently remastered some screens from older games in 3D. Pretty cool! View these on your 3DS (either look at them in the web browser, or put them on your SD card):

Monster Hunter and Donkey Kong look especially amazing. What's you opinion? Also, thanks to NintendoLife for uncovering these.

A new system update is available for 3DS. This update includes:

Fix for the Ridge Racer 3D glitch

Software transfer from DSi/DSi XL (I guess they just allow for more games now?)

Automatic updating

Download it now. A Spotpass notification is going out.

[QUOTE="nini200"][QUOTE="ChubbyGuy40"]

I'm hoping it gets delayed to be made on Wii-U and 3DS instead.

enrique_marrodz

That would be cook. I too am eagerly awaiting The Grinder as it was slated for Halloween release this year.

That would be actually the best move. I prefer to wait for a Wii U cooperative online version with 8 players or so and more variety on the monsters

I agree with you guys

WM+ is required for the system. No standard wiimotes. And most WM+ games don't even use the sensor bar, they use just the advanced motion tech to track a pointer. Way more precise.

Not to be a Doubting Thomas, but, where was this confirmed? (even if you say Yahoo I will believe you)

Eldav0 is right. If you love resident evil mostly for it's action, and enjoy beating high scores, the go with Mercs 3D. If you're more of an action-adventure person, or want a really long game, go with Ocarina 3D. Really, you can't go wrong either way.
