I bought an Xbox 360 at launch and sold it a year later (I guess that would be sometime in 2007). I had traded it in for a PS3.

I am now going to make my PS3 just a blu-ray player and buy a 360 for games because I think it has a better controller, better online and better exclusives.

What has changed with the 360 since 2007?

I am planning on getting the pro bundle.

This will have a larger hard-drive then the one I got at launch and it will have an HDMI port.

There is also a new dashboard which looks cool.

I also understand you can install games to your hard-drive! What is the deal with this? Can all games be put onto the hard-drive? How many games would fit on an Xbox 360 pro bundle (comes with a 60GB hard-drive)?

Left 4 Dead has come out too which is supposed to be like the greatest co-op multiplayer game ever!

Any other major changes?

what has changed? about 2 years. barack obama is now president, and i have an asian girlfriend now as opposed to a white chick, oh, and my birthday also...the iphone still blows..other than that, nothing much ..

Gamespot has moderators and admins, they are there for a reason, simply put, its their job to accomodate us and placing the right threads to the right categories, anyway i dont ask for help, and i dont expect advanced users to ask anything. Most are young and maybe wont bother with, if it gets replies then fine if not i go back to my norml life. Being sarcastic and a smart ass will get you nowhere in life. Dont try it little buddy,

I have a 50 inchPanasonic Panny. I have really enjoyed it. I also own a 42 inch Plasma, I love the technology. You will get a little image retention (IR), but it is no big deal, and should not be confused with "Burn in". LCD is terrible for movies, unless you get one with the LED backlight. But, LCD is good for TV and Video games.

LCD is terrible for movies?? Plasmas are horrid for video games, especially with dark themed games like resident evil.

LCD pros- Angles. You can view it from anywhere in the room. Deep blacks, Motion blurs have been fixed in recent models, environment friendly, less power/energy, much more life. Less heavy. No noise.

LCD cons- screen is quite difficult to clean.

Plasma Pros-deep blacks, glossy look makes for smooth playback, good for everything except gaming.

Plasma cons- noisy, heavy, power eater, angles suck unless you sit almost infront of it, glare even on the anti glare. Games look too dark

Sharp aquos, samsungs and bravias are fantastic.Frankly, i dont give a damn.

looking for hd tv with deepest blacks and best all around hd experience. dont care if its plasma or lcd because apparently both are as reliable as each other these days. not looking to spend over 3 grand (aus) and between the sizes of 46-52 inch. thanks guys. so many brands and models to choose from...to many optionsdrtickleme

You want deep blacks? Go Plasma. Want a solid Tv? GO LCD. LCDs have been getting a bad rap about blacks. But if you know about manual configuration, you can turn the LCDS into a fantastic set. Besides, my room is brightly lit during the day, so LCDS have an advantage because there is no glare.

I didn't even know these things existed until a couple of days ago. It seems there are only three on the market for use with the xbox 360.

Tritton AX Pro- they are the cheapest in price for $160

Turtle Beach X4- which are about $199

Astro A40- the most expensive weighing in at $250

Have you guys ever used any of these? What do you think?
Are there any others on the market I haven't heard of?
Thanks for the help:)

@ MICROSOFT studios, we use skullcandy, These are the best headphones next to bose. We dont really chat on them, so if your looking for a headset/mic combo, i would go with TURTLE BEACH wireless. Make sure you get the LONG range ones, I love chatting while taking a crap !

I work for the resolve & results department at the microsoft xbox360 headquarters that responds to suggestions, comments, and strategic planning for xbox360, not those guys at 1800-4myxbox. I have decided to open a thread on here because alot of the info that passes through here is misleading. I have other sites that i blog on in which we disscuss all topics including connection problems, games and upcoming accessories. My GAMERTAG is LETHAFACE360.

you can ask me anything, or comment on the subject mentioned above. Hello, gamespot community!
