The demo doesn't work for me. I click it and Steam says the usual "Preparing to Launch Empire:Total War" but then I get an error telling me Empire: Total War has stopped working. I'd really love to play this but it just won't work.:(

It will have a European release with European servers at first, though it will eventually release with servers in the US. People can still buy it and play on the EU servers if they're in the US. As for buying it, it'll most likely be a download.
I'm pretty excited for this game. Personally, I like the looks of naval warfare and plan to invest time in that. We're supposed to be able to try it out before we play, so that definitely keeps it from being the next AoC for me.
