So, I just bought Left 4 Dead and installed it on Steam. Every time I click on it to launch it, a window pops up that says "Only one instance of the game can be running at one time." How do I get it to quit doing this? BTW It would be perfectly fine with me to just unassociate it with Steam, and just play it like everyone else does. In fact, by now that would be preferrable. I've really had it with Steam. If that's the solution, can you tell me how to do that? Steam is new to me.

Sunshine was definitely the hardest. I still don't have all 120 stars. Then 64. Then Galaxy.
