Non-gamers buying the games is a good thing. If the industry were to cater solely to the hardcore, not only would they have abysmal sales, they'd also slowly lose their fanbase by trying to cater more and more to them. And let's name some games for the Wii, shall we?

This is a comparison usig metacritic. metacritic is owned by CNET who owns gamespot, obviously.

So the Xbox 360 has 134 games so far that have an average score of at least 75 out of 100 (defined as "favorable" by metacritic, also the scores in the green)

Playstation 3 has only 53 games so far (much less than half of the 360; only about 40%)

and Wii has only a measly 26 games in the green (not even a quarter of the 360; about 19%)

So let me sum this up for you cows and sheep.

XBOX 360 - 134 favorable games

PS3 - 53 favorable games

Wii - 26 favorable games

for those of you who like percentages, of the amount of favorable games

360 accounts for 63% of those

PS3 accounts for 25%

Wii only accounts for 12%

to get the percentages you add 134 (xbox 360), 53 (ps3), and 26 (wii) together which is 213. then you divide each of those first 3 numbers by 213 to get each percentage. I AM assuming cows and sheep aren't good at math.
