Yeah so about a month or so ago I beat Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (the campaign was kind of short I beat it in a few weeks or so). Here is my review of the game.
I would've posted this blog sooner, but I was busy working on my "lobsta" blog.

So about two weeks or so ago, my cousin came down my house (I had just woken up from a nap) and when we were in the living room with my dad sitting on the couches, my dad had heard about a special at Stew Leonard's where they were selling lobsters for $3.99 s pounf the day before (but it was a one day only sale) and my dad wanted to call and see how much the lobster cost that day. My dad asked me to call Stew Leonard's to find out the price of the lobster, but my cousin said he'de call on his cellphone (this way we didn't have to get off the couch) and then said he was gonna talk black (i.e. talk like a black person) when he called them. So my cousin called Stew Leonard's and said "how much them lobstas be" and the guy gave him the prices (I think it was 5.99 a pound for 1 and 1/4th pound lobster and $7.99 per pound for a two pound lobster). Then my father told my cousin to call some other store (I think it was either PriceChopper or Stop and Shop) and my cousin called them and said "hey man how much them lobstas be" and the guy said $9.99 a pound (or maybe it was $7.99 a pound). Then my father told my cousin to call Tritown in Portland so he called them and asked "how much them lobstas be" and the guy gave him the price (I think it was either $9.99 or $11.99 a pound) and my cousin says "shiit that's expensive" and the store guy laughed and said "tell me about it".
After that my cousin and I played Gears of War for a bit and then it was time for supper. My parents had made pasta and sauce and when my father, my cousin and I were eating, my uncle called my father on the phone and told him he had made steamers and asked him if he wanted any steamers. So my dad sent my cousin and I to walk over to my uncle's house and get some steamers. Our uncle gave us a bowl of steamers and put some slices of bread in it (bread is good to dip into the steamers sauce/juice).
When we finished eating my we decided to have my cousin do some more phone calls looking for lobster. My Dad told my cousin to call Red Lobster and ask how much their lobsters cost. So my cousin called them and asked how much the lobster's were and the guy said $25 so my cousin said "shiit, man, that's expensive, Stew Leonard's got'em for $5,99 a pound" and the guy said "I know man, I've been hearing that all day". Then after that my cousin called the Dollar Tree, and put the phone on speaker so my dad and I could hear. My cousin asked the girl who answered a phone if they sell staplers and the girl said they sell mini-staplers.Then my cousin said "how much are they", and the girl answered that they are a dollar. Then my cousin asked them "how much them lobstas be, how much for the live ones and how much for the dead ones", and the girl answer "$200 for the live ones and $29.99 for the dead ones" and then she asked me cousin "you do know who this is your calling, right?" and he said "yeah Stop and Shop". When the girl heard that answer she started cracking up and said "this is the dollar tree" and then I think my cousin apologized and we could hear the girl in the background telling other workers "he thought this was Stop and Shop".
After that my dad told my cousin to call Friendly's and find out if they still sell Jim Dandie's and how much the Jim Dandies cost. So my cousin called and asked "do you guys do any ice-cream" and "do you guys sell Jim Dandies'" and the guy said yes so my cousin asked how much they were. I don't remember the price, but I do remember that it was kind of high.
well I've been meaning to post this for a while, but about a month ago I beat Halo 3: ODST on legendary mode (I had previously beaten it on an easier difficulty level) and then started playing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (I had previously gotten a few levels into it years ago, but I started over so that the storyline would be fresh in my head). About a week or two ago I beat Modern Warfare 2. Here is my review of Modern Warfare 2. Also this Sunday, my cousin and I beat Gears of War which we had been playing on co-op down at my house (though it is his game, and we used his controllers since my first controller keeps disconnecting and I dropped my second controller the first time we were playing Gears of War at my house and one button - the left trigger which is used to aim in Gears or War and in Modern Warfare- jammed and won't work).
Now the next games on the agenda to beat are Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (which I have started playing) and Gears of War 2 (when my cousin gets back from his trip to Block Island, where he was walking in the hotel and a bird flew right by his head, we are supposed to play and beat Gears of War 2 together). It's best to play these sequels after beating their predecessors so we know the storyline and can follow what is going on without forgetting what happened in the previous game.
Last month I beat Halo ODST (the complete name is Halo 3: ODST but I just call it Halo ODST or just ODST). Here is my review for the game.
Well it seems too early but today is Christmas Eve. It's a bit warm out, two days ago I even saw a bee outside. It's kinda weird but Christmas will probably be warmer than Halloween this year.
People have their nice decorations up. I've got two trees this year, a big fake one in the living room (it's an old one, we have a newer one in the attic but my day put up the wrong one) and a small real one in the kitchen. I also have a small fake tree in my room.
The fire station has cool Christmas lights up around the building. The lights change from green to red and back again, it's cool, but unfortunately they didn't put up the inflatable Santa that they used to put in the little-tower on top of this year (they used to always put it up their years ago).
Anyway here is Today's Tree of the Day.
Here is the Video of the Tree being lit. Here's the guys decorating the tree.
And since it's Christmas Eve, today's song of the Day is Here Comes Santa Clause 'cause Santa Claus comes tonight.
Here iswhere you can track Santa to see where he is, when I woke up and checked the tv it said he was in Mongolia.
However I wonder if Santa will be able to make it to my house. I heard he might've gotten arrested.
So this is the first Christmas Tree and Song of the Day blog for this year.
Today's Christmas tree of the Day is this nice one here:
It's kinda pretty. Real Colorful. Perhaps a bit too colorful.
And for the Christmas Song of the Day how about:
It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas. Here are the Lyrics .
Unfortunately some folks are being jerks. One School Superintendent tried to stop Santa Claus from showing up at his school, what a Grinch! Santa Claus needs to lay the smack down on that guy!
Well folks Happy Thanksgiving. It's hard to believe it is already Thanksgiving it came so darn quick. Heck there wasn't even a proper Halloween this year - I hardly put up any of my Halloween decorations, I put a few up but I never did put my Spooky-Town village up, I was about to get it from the attic but then we had a big huge snowstorm and the power was knocked out from Saturday to Thursday and by the time it came back Halloween was over. Anyway I figured no big deal, Halloween would just be canceled and that folk would just wait until next year to trick or treat (and save money on their costumes). But no, they decided to trick or treat the Saturday after Halloween, even though some folks were still out of power. My uncle got caught off guard, he looked outside because he heard a noise and saw some trick-or-treaters and got so surprise that yelled out "Ah! It's frickin' trick-or-treaters" and the kids got scared and ran off. Later he heard a knock on the door and thought that it was more trick-or-treaters but when he opened the door it was his tenant Bill with the rent money.
Any way enough about Halloween and the crappy power outages (Crappy 'Lectric Power sure did a quick job restoring that power huh).
Happy Thanksgiving. Make sure you eat that Turkey (and I mean real Turkey none of that Tofurkey junk!), no diet junk I want you entering wherever you're going for Thanksgiving looking like this:
And return home looking like this:
Don't worry you could always exercise afterwards.
Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy!
So I was in my parents room and my dad was watching Wrestling on tv and HHH threatened CM Punk that he would "slap all of those silly little tattoos off of your skinny fat ass".
What? That doesn't make sense. How can an ass be both fat and skinny?
And apparently HHH is the CEO of WWE he said he was acting as CEO but he messed up and accidentally said COO instead of CEO.
In the past few weeks it seems like there's been a lot of cops showing up in the neighborhood. First, a few weeks ago an incident occured late one Friday Night. That night for some reason my dog was laying in the hallway upstairs (he usually stays either downstairs, on the foyer between the stairs, or on the top set of stairs). Anyways at about 10 or 10:30 I was petting him and all of a sudden he quickly turned his head to the side and started staring out the little window of my front door. A while later I took him outside to go the bathroom and he kept sniffing around, he obviously smelled something.
towards 1 o' clock my sister's friends dropped her off back home and she told my mother and I that they saw police cars at the house of the Indian family that lives across the street from us (my aunt actually considered buying that house back in the late '90s, I remember my family taking me there and walking through it). My mother, my sister and I got in my mom's car and drove past the house to see (leaving our front door unlocked) but the cop cars were gone by the time we passed it. Later on we found out thatearlier duringthat night, the police went looking for the suspect (didn't catch him or even know who he was) a police cruiser went up the driveway that my family and my uncle's family share, and then they used the dog to sniff for scents and followed the dog up my uncle's driveway and over his wall, possibly going into my other uncle's yard.
A week or so after that, my sister was tanning out on the deck and she told me that their was a snapping turtle out and that I should bring the dog in. I asked her where the turtle was and she said in my Uncle's yard next door. So I went out and quickly brought my dog and his bowls in. When I got in I looked out the window and saw two police cruisers and an animal control van coming up my uncle's driveway. My Uncle was talking to the cops and the guys my uncle hires to mow his lawn were also there (some were standing around, one was in the back yard mowing like nothing was going on). Eventually the cops and animal control left. I later found out that my mom (who works at the police department) heard the police radio at work as the cops were dispatched to my uncle's house to deal with the snapping turtle and called my sister to tell her to have me bring in the dog. later that day my mother told us that that same day animal control got called again by somebody else to deal with a snapping turtle.
Then last week (perhaps Wednesday or Thursday) I looked out my bedroom window and saw a police car in the top of our driveway, which turned around and went back down. We're not sure why they did that, but it's possible that they were looking for a run-away dog (that has happened before, one time I saw a pitbull go running through our yard and into the woods and minutes later a police car came up the driveway).
Then last weekend, from our living room window we saw my uncle talking to a police car in his driveway, my uncle then walked along side the car and him and the cruiser went down the driveway. A minute or so later, my cousin walked down the driveway to see what was going on. Eventually my Uncle and my cousin walked back up the driveway and my father asked them (through the window) what happened and my cousin said that the alarm at the Indian's house went off.
A central Florida dentist was arrested after he allegedly fought with an 85-year-old patient who was upset her dentures didn't fit properly, authorities said Wednesday.
Michael Hammonds, 57, faces multiple charges, including false imprisonment, after the Tuesday incident.
The dispute began after Hammonds attempted to adjust Virginia Graham's lower partial dentures, authorities said. She allegedly screamed in pain because it felt like the fake teeth had cut her gum, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office charging affidavit said.
The report said a witness told authorities Graham threw the dentures at Hammonds and told him she didn't want them. She then tried to grab them from him, but he wouldn't let go, the report said. During a tug-of-war over the dentures, the woman's finger got caught on a sharp piece of the denture and bled, the report said.
Graham bit the dentist on the hand and he let go of them, authorities said.
The elderly woman went to leave the office, but Hammonds allegedly blocked her way and continued screaming at her, authorities said. She said she became afraid he might hurt her, the report said.
"Graham made one final attempt to leave by trying to climb over the receptionist desk and out the receptionist's window," but Hammonds' assistant helped her down, according to the report.
The deputy observed multiple bruises on Graham's upper arms and forearms. Hammonds was released on $4,000 bond Tuesday night. A telephone message left at the dental office wasn't immediately returned, and it wasn't clear if he had an attorney.
