You get credits through winning single-player races and the money gets better as you go up through the Class system of each track (Career Mode) by winning in each difficulty ('A' and 'S' difficulty unlocked after several wins on a given track meaning you need to win multiple times in order for the next Class to unlock), or you can also win cash by completing the License Courses which teach you how to drive correctly which pay off huge amounts for gold medals, etc.
Both very addictive.
ahh right, i have nearly done all of the challenges (mainly silvers :() but i wasnt aware that as you level up on tracks you get more prize money....cheers :)
there are 3 difficulty levels when you first start the game, casual, normal...and cant remember the other, when you launch that you are then put onto these islands where the difficulty is again sectioned out...eg.. casual - easy level casual - medium level medium - casual level etc :)
