Don't forget that upgrading to the new i7 CPUs also included a memory (3 sticks required) and motherboard upgrade. But yes, the becnhmarks on Tom's Hardware and other sites show there are some improvements over an OCed Q6600, so if you have the cash to spend, go for it. I am waiting until next year for the total upgrade...

No problems for me under Windows Vista 64-bits. Try patching as mentioned above...

Piracy is so high simply because there is no real punishment for the crime, most of us here would probably commit a crime (any crime) if we knew we would not get caught and we would not be punished. The internet has created a firewall between ourselves giving us the confidence to insult each other in ways we normally would never do face-to-face, look lewd and disgusting images/videos, and of course download movies/games/apps for free...
