Nope, it's not. However designing complex inter-dependent systems that span multiple applications in such a way that it actually works when you get around to coding it...that's not so easy. :P
...dang, and the best thing iv made so far is a game were you pop 2D bubbles with your mouse and get a point every time you do it....
[QUOTE="wiiguyftw"][QUOTE="Teufelhuhn"]XNA Game Studio is really cool, but it's nowhere close to something that all "gamers" can use. You're still coding a game from scratch, and making all the artwork and design yourself. Making a full game is a tremendous project that can take a very very long time even when experienced people are involved.
It'll be cool for the average gamer since he or she will be able to buy all kinds of unique indie titles that get put on Community Games, but Ir eally doubt it's going to be anything more than a small perk at best.

yea... i guess, maybe just for any gamer who REALLY wanted to make games like me

im only in high school and i know my stuff well.
...might have helped that I took computing in a modern world (aka programming I) and im taking AP Computer Science. I've also taken computer graphics (which is suprisingly enough technically in the art department) but i dont use those (2d ftw!)
--- but seriously, if a gamer wants to make games, just get java, download a sample pong thing, read a tutorial, and youll be good
WOW... really im in my sophmore year of highschool... they only allow me to take computer art calss so far and computer science in senior year so i cant take it yet... i also only program in 2D for now 3D a little too complicated for me yet.. but eventually
