it was obviously put on hold to be the next Rainbow 6 title on the nexgen... Rainbow 6 is quite the monkeymaker, it's hard to believe that Ubisoft would downright cancel it.
Activision is a very very old, very very fat sick man attached to tubes and the life support system is Call of Duty. when the life support system will end, the fall of Activision will be the most spectacular fallout in the video game industry. it will be biblical!
that thing that pisses me off the most about EA is that their developer teams are actually very, very talented... but EA themselves overseer and block any creative process, they always put them on impossible deadlines and when a product doesn't do well because of their s***t oversight they close the studio, make people lose jobs and the board of directors, the CEO's and the market executives still laugh all the way to the bank. the EALA studio they had from what remained from both Westwood and Dreamworks Interactive are pretty smart from the sparks of brillance i've seen from their games. yes that even includes MOH:W which despite itself had a robust MP with some pretty neat ideas. the lack of creative freedom EA imposes, and the often impossible deadlines they were given, you can see that their ambitions were never ever explored full force... such a shame, it really is...
@CloWnCircus not so much, also Condemned isn't much of a survival game, it's a horror game with detective elements. strong underlooked game, but it ain't no Metro.
