stupidest most unnecessary article i have ever seen , while Warfighter looks as generic as it sounds (although it could still be a really good military shooter), what i'm picturing in my head as to what Tom asks for sounds like THE MOST FRUSTRATING GAME EVER, it sounds like a realism mod.... FOR ARMA!
Tom, you just dropped the ball and this article simply turns out to be as whiney and immature as they could be. Warfighter strives for "authenticity" by other means, and in case you didn't quite notice the butchering of common sense by the Modern Warfare series by now, you can see where Warfighter sits well with it's claims of raising the bar in authenticity, it literally wishes to pull the bar away from the abyss COD put it in.
Warfighter doesn't claim to be "realistic", it claims to have authentic locations, scenarios, weapons and "feel" that COD simply swayed a bit too far away from. this are the areas where Warfighter was pointing it's authentic claims at, and considering MOH 2010 and the direction this one is heading, it mostly successful.
let's just hope the game is well polished and will have something unique, i heard they are taking notes from FIFA team management into their Multiplayer which will have a special forces vs special forces kind of thing... sounds, kinda cool i guess?
too bad the ballistics, the balance and the gearing of Counter Strike make it a far superior game for MLG. should Valve put this effort on GO, it will take over. COD? if you wanna play competitive COD, play COD1 or COD4, i just don't see how any subsequent COD games make a difference, in pro league they will set rules and strip the game down to it's core. and in the core of it COD4 is as evolved a COD game can be for an MLG and i don't see how in the small intrications they wish to get into Treyarch can deliver.
