I really wouldn't want to be 'forced' into sidequests in TP. Sidequests should be totally optional, there will also be similar dungeons in TP as OoT, we've already seen TP's version of the Forest Temple.

As for the question, I'd really like to see great large Bosses, cool new items and a great story. I would also be pleased if Ganon made an appearence.

When I saw the first screenshots of WW, I'll admit I was worried. Then it arrived in Japan and I instantly ordered a copy. It blew me away.

The animation is fluid, the environments are detailed and contain a surprising amount of depth and character. The Story was better than OoT's. The fighting had been upgraded, and made somewhat easier at the same time, which is both good and bad. The bosses were very cool to fight and the final battle atop Ganon's tower is possibly the best Zelda battle ever.

I really had no problems with the Cel-Shading after I actually seen it in motion, it is like watching a comic book come to life. Also the Great Sea was never a chore for me, it was indeed large and that is excactly how it felt, after obtaining the Cyclone ability (which doesnt take that long) it becomes even more enjoyable.

My only gripes with the game were that it was a little on the short side, there were too few dungeons, was a tad bit easy and there wasnt as many weapons as I had hoped for. Overall, I think it is the thrid best Zelda game just behind ALttP and the mighty OoT.

Best time would have to be when I finally got my copy of OoT, I sat down and watched the opening video and was just amazed, it was too beautiful for words, and then when you finally ascend those steps in Ganon's tower and the music gets louder, louder, louder until you finally face off against him, sheer brilliance.

I always enjoy zelda games, my least favourite however was probably Majoras Mask. I know alot of people think it was underappreciated, Im not one of them VileRage

Couldn't agree more with you. I'm not a huge fan of Majora either, still a great game but just not on par with OoT and ALttP. I think it was the emphasis on side-quests that put me off.

I really doubt killing Villagers/Shop Owners would be a possibility in TP.. I can't think why anyone would want to either.. being able to kill more things doesn't really mean the game would have more depth. Now adding magical effects to standard weapons (e.g Gale Boomerang) that's how I would define more depth.

Originally when they were first creating the Oracle games, there were supposed to be 3 games and one of them was supposed to be a remake of the very first NES Zelda. Later on Nintendo decided that a 3 game adventure was probably too much so they cut it down to the 2 games we have now.Link2025

I just thought there was another game in the same vein and style as OOT/OOS that was being made but it was apparently supposed to be a stand alone title and it never got released. If I can remember correctly it was called Legend Of Zelda : Fruits of the Mysterious Tree....

[QUOTE="Link2025"][QUOTE="imnotwhite"][QUOTE="Link2025"][QUOTE="imnotwhite"]

[QUOTE="123kaney"]are u sure they arn't adding anything new i've been hearing a whole lot about 100hrs gamplay latley.imnotwhite

only system that could handle that on one disk is xbox or xbox 360!

(im gettin it) if there was 100 hrs of gameplay it would come on two disks!

Not true. PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360 both use standard DVD-9 discs I believe. It all depends and what kind of content the disc itself includes. The easiest way to waste space on a disc is by using lots of audio (like music tracks or voicework) or lots of FMV sequences. Since Zelda uses such limited voice samples (like Link's battle cry's) and is mostly text based it shouldn't really be a problem having to fit all that into one GC disc. The finished version of TP will probably come really close to filling that disc though.

maybe thats why link dont talk! and why they have so many songs and had dungeons cut! (ww)

Link doesn't talk because Miyamoto doesn't want to associate one overall voice that labels Link. Everyone has their own idea of what Link sounds like. Miyamoto also gave reasons why some dungeons were cut from WW such as the overall quest being too long and he wanted everyone to be able to complete WW.

um WW was too short for me!

Agreed I also think that Wind Waker was a little too short (the triforce quest was just filler content and could've added more dungeons, instead of crappy chests).

When I first heard the news that TP was to be delayed, I'll admit that I was furious to say the least. After careful consideration though, if Nintendo have and are taking this long on the game it's obviously going to be a superior title. I mean Nintendo knock out these Mario-Sport games constantly and they are great, we all know what they can do when they REALLY take their time (OOT)... just keep on waiting.
