So shooting a gun in a virtual environment is only okay when you do not shoot virtual people, but instead virtual targets? The "people" (Really a collection of polygons made to resemble people) in the games are just like the targets you shoot, not real.

Some idiot tried using the idea that cars kill lots of people, well idiots cars are not made for killing, they are made for driving. Guns have only one reason to exist, to kill or seriously hurt. It's a piss poor comparison to try to draw.
