The trendnet unit only connects to the console with a ethernet cable. This can be done with a shoret (3 foot) cable. It then connects wirelessly to your home network. Just to stat the obvious you will need to be able to plug this unit into power.
The MS unit just plugs into the back of the 360 via USB and doesnt need external power soure. If you choose the MS unit I would go with this one, Its the newer unit uses the wireless N format, faster than the one in the OP.
Yeah, you need acess to Illium to do the DLC. Its not necessary to wait till after the suicide mission. Im on my second playthrough and I stopped just before the Legion mission so as not to trigger the suicide mission.I been using this point for the last coupleDLC. It worked well story wise, Liara even mentioning the upcoming Mission through the Omega Relay.
You can chose the no helmet option only if you use the default Normandy7 Armour. If you have any of the special pre-order armours then there is no helmet off option, you are stuck with the full armour.
"Little has spilled out regarding BioWare's DLC plans for Mass Effect 2 but yesterday, via Twitter, the studio indicated there will be launch-day DLC and it won't cost anything.
"Addressing rumors: BioWare will not be charging extra for any new Mass Effect 2 content on launch day. More DLC details next week," says the tweet.
Earlier reports had Mass Effect 2 planning a slew of downloadable content, although timing was mentioned for none of it. I suppose that we shall find what the deal is this week. We'd better, the game itself releases in just nine days."
