So it looks like I have the RROD again.

Just a couple of questions.

1. Is it faster and easyer to do it online, or by phone. Last time I had RROD (over 2 years ago) I called in. If I don't have to talk to them, I think it would be better.

2. Are they sending back Jasper and Falcon chipsets back? I have a pro 20gb, I assume I'll still get a pro back. The real question is, I don't have HDMI now, would I get that with the new one? (don't all Jasper and Falcon have HDMI)?

Would I get a new power supply with it?

I've sent back three units now and have called in each time. I never had issues calling in, I usually got through very quick and had no problems with whoever I was talking with. They were quick to email the shipping slip (a couple of hours) and I was able to drop it off at the courier the same evening.

I am not sure about the Falcon/Jasper chipsets. If you send a pro you get a pro back -mine have been refurbished units and not the one I sent in. I doubt that you will get one back with HDMI, I havent yet.... as much as I would like one myself

I was wondering, do they change the insides of these 360s even if it has an older manufacturing date? Because the Elite they gave me is manufactured in 2007. I'm afraid it might kick the bucket again. I was hoping they sent me back a new console manufactured in 2009, so the jasper would be in it. :(

I wouldnt count on it. I just sent in my 3rd refurbished 360 to be fixed. The last one didnt even last one month before it got the 3 red rings again. :cry:
