I wish I had gotten to play the beta. I am very excited for the Dynamic events. They were pretty fun in Rift. I was also a big fan of Guild Wars 1. I am excited!! :)

@TohouAsura I agree, I hadn't thought about it until you mentioned it though. I've never wanted a game to be a movie. Not once.

Some of the "Game Masters" were good picks, some were not so much, but these two were obvious.

They deserve the title given here, wholly.

@grasu Honestly I can't agree or disagree. I will say that I haven't found the best items out there. I don't have MF gear equipped though, and I'm only act2 inferno. So I haven't ran the highest area of the game.

But, with my Hammerdin, I would do chaos and baal runs all day on d2 and rarely would I come up with much that was actually noteworthy. It took me weeks of doing that before I got some gear that I actually wanted.

@TasteMyAmerica @jrgoalie33 I doubt it would be called anything goes to hell. Considering you actually fight diablo at the pinnacle of heaven. and are not in hell. :P

@grasu Well, The design team has admitted fault. They've even revamped the game for patch 1.03 to increase drop rates. And supposedly farming Hell diablo will yield ilvl61 items, and the first act of inferno will yield ilvl63 items. Which were previously unavailable until late act2 and act3 of inferno.

@caffiend7 Many of the devs and publishers alike have admitted to making mistakes, making bad games, and they blame a lot of it on resource. See when you make a game with a ton of amazing textures, what's honestly left to fit on a disc... 4-6 hours of gameplay? Crap game, Great graphics. With all of them touting new blu rays we can have games up to 40 gb instead of 8gb.

@deathstream Well the problem is that the games are just plum bad. It's hard to find a great game on used shelves. There's a reason for it, Good games sell, Bad games get recycled.

In my opinion it won't kill the industry, but it certainly needs the swift kick in the ass that losing all of their money can provide. With out some initiative we will simply see more Call of duty, and it's clones.

@Jake518 They have been working on how to do this for years, the only real way is to make season passes, so that used games can't experience online play without a fee. It's actually the only legal way to do it. You can't deny used game sales on a console due to the fact that it's an open market. However, services, such as online play. That's a different story.
