@keech Do you actually know how it happened? "Proper authorities" ? For what? For players canceling sales and profiting from a blizzard glitch? Blizzard made money from the ordeal, nothing was lost, or stolen from them. Unless you account for AH downtime. Which they've had plenty of by their own faults.
@Lhomity @x-TwilighT-x @blackothh Apples and Oranges. If you can't see the difference I am not sure I can effectively explain it to you.
First we're not talking about real life, also not talking about something that could, in any situation put anyone in any physical danger.Second Blizzard didn't lose money from this, in fact, they saw profit.Third everyone, who ever played baldurs gate on the ps2, and knew about the exploit duplicated items, and / or gold. Everyone. Finally the points you're making here are unscrupulous. Duplicating fake gold and effecting an in game economy may be a pain in the ass but actually harms nobody.
@blackothh I don't think anyone should be banned for this. It was blizzards fault it happened. People exploited it, that's human nature, if you find a shortcut take it.
On another note, I have around 150 million gold. Not sure what blizzard calls "Play with gold"
Nope. There has to be something deeper. He's always been this way and everyone, everyone, accepts it, because in every industry there is someone people love to hate. Without a doubt that was idra in the SC world. It's good for business too, my best guess is that he some how really pissed off SirScoots. (Scott Smith, the COO of eG)
@Gallowhand @bluefox755 Playing games online is playing in the school yard. It's typically immature, and they'll say anything to get to you. If you let it that's something you have to deal with as a person. Nothing can be done about online bullying. Short of saying these ladies need to grow a pair.... figuratively speaking of course.
