@Torrez_ @x2rufff4u and this is why your still stuck in 2008. Do you want me to say BORDERLANDS 2 or 1 which brings ingenuity! Would that make you happy since that game is a RPG/FPS requires a Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 + aboved as recommendation straight from Nvidia. Borderlands will be more forever successful than Final Fantasy MMORPGS or your over sea games translated to English you protect. Do you even know what they get paid to make these games? Next to squat! Look it up

@Torrez_ @x2rufff4u Do you know that most MMORPG companies just rip off games overseas and translate it to English? Have you not noticed the downfall of many MMORPG games that follow your formula?Take a look at PlanetSide 2 that is by Sony exclusively made for english speakers. The recommended requirements are

nVidia GeForce 500 series or higher / AMD HD 6870 or higher

Look how successful this game is and how many people play it. Why? Because it stands out on not just graphical level, but also ingenuity. Plus this game is FREE!!! Why is the game still running????

I know Planetside is a MMOFPS, but this game is a good example of why MMORPG always fail in the long run. The game requirements are high yet your telling me we should make it for the average consumer based on there graphics. HELLO!! HD 3000 is standard in most pc's today & it can play this game with no problem. Graphic cards won't even be a requirement when Haswell releases there chip this year.

Look at WOW. It's database is so low now, because they are not keeping up with inflation, yet it's the most successful MMORPG of all time! Maybe because they didn't RIP IT OFF OVERSEAS!!!

@Torrez_ @x2rufff4u Well heres a better example. What if we take Unreal Engine 4 "<< LINK REMOVED >>" and base the game off of that. Just look how beautiful the game is and I know what I'm asking won't come till about 2-5 years, but by than we will have graphics card that everyone can afford and run these games. Todays current cards such as a GTX 660 ti about 300$ can run all this. In a year or two that card will be $150-200 which is affordable.

Were hitting a plateau were current gpu technology is surpassing games that would require a a 500$ card to run a 2 years ago. Haswell is introducing there new cpu/gpu chip this year and looks as powersful as a 580GTX.

Even bandwidth to run these games would not be a problem. I think the average speed in the US is about 10mb's & steadily climbing fast.

We really need a new engine to base these games off of. Not a crappy one from scratch, but a real one like Unreal Engine 4

@Torrez_ What about weather? What if it's raining and you decide "great time to try out my thunder shock". Well you know water isn't the best with electricity so getting dmg yourself in rain would make sense + any monsters in that area would get +dmg & +dmg area effect for any monsters near that one. What if we can use weather as a variable for alot of moves we use. Think about would fire be effective during rain? NO so now your SOL

@Torrez_ @x2rufff4u To be honest I think we need a new battle system and stop following the old ones. GW2 did a excellent job, but Ithink refining on what we have to the next level would be a great idea. Real time(RT) foilage landscapes,RT ai that actually do more than walk to you and attack. What if we could make AI smarter using landscape protection such as rocks on the ground to throw or as defense. Potions actually drain by how much you drink such it holds 100HP and you heal 56HP there is 44HP left in the bottle.

When we get damaged it shows how bad our characters gets with cuts/bruises or whatever type of dmg was inflicted. Armor shown to be damaged or needs repair can be seen. We need moves that we can implant on our characters that each monster acts differently rather than just a slash or dmg stat over there head. Take a move such as shield bash. What if shield bash a monster and there is another one behind it? Well the monster behind will be hit/20% chance it will fall down with a 20% dizzy stat. Do you get what I mean? Real time mechanics/foilage

Sorry for any errors I made typing this. It's all off the top of my head. Yes, I always wanted to be a game designer.
